    Looks as though transfer window for NE has closed with Oxford not releasing Ledson. Accies still banging on about NE agreeing to take their captain and NE still denying. He is crocked until March so why should NE want him? Ledson was the target but he ain't available. End of window.

    Hamilton skipper bound for Aberdeen and Oxford don't have a manager so that might scupper that one for the time being

    In this inflated market, it is difficult to know whether that is what Hugill is worth that. Port Vale get a good percentage of the fee.
