I find it interesting that there seems to be a big divide on how fans on here have perceived it - or maybe it’s just the more vocal ones who are giving that impression?

Anyway, I’m somewhere in the middle and I suspect most are too, but I just want to see.

It's hard to score in advance of the season Who knows how the additions will impact on performances. You can only really score in retrospect.

In general it seemed excellent. Good squad depth improvement. Potential improvements to first 11.

And then there is Oscar. Without the Oscar factor, potentially in the 8+ region. With a very light looking forward line that could modify it downwards significantly.

Who knows though. It may all work out well and prove to be a 9 or 10. TWT

Feels a bit more balanced side than last year, especially in defence and midfield, though would have preferred an upgrade on McLoughlin.

Upfront is a bit scratchy, though I was never convinced Oscar was all that and Allyhar does little to sway my opinion he is another Millincovic.

Anyway I just go to watch football and hope that the manager at the time puts round pegs in round holes.

I rarely listen to pre/post match Rosie speak as it's mostly the same waffle the new breed of managers spout.

Coach them to play on the front foot, lose the obsession with possession based football and XG/stats psychobabble and entertain me.

5. I would’ve said 6 if Óscar stayed, 7 if we signed a decent striker as a replacement for Óscar and 8 if we signed a quality, physical defensive mid and a better keeper than Allsop.

Can't be arsed to grade it, nor am I going bang on about all of it, but I cannot believe Rosenior is happy about the striker situation. If he is, he either knows of a free agent inbound or he needs his head checking.

We are incredibly vulnerable and light in a key position and if that isn't a concern in to the football management and the board room management then I seriously doubt that a cogent plan exists for this team.

LR has to produce now, this is his squad with the players he's wanted to bring in as his first choices ( for the most part ). He can't have any excuses now of not having the players to play his way etc. I think we have to be fair and give him at minimum the next 10 games before we make any real decision on if it's working or not.

It's now over to you LR. Good luck

Voted a 6, some good additions but some less then ideal, not sure about the keeper situation, we'll see how the forward line goes, just above average but we'll see how he moulds the squad he has.

Love to be different 2/9/10, went for ten as it’s double figures…. If you don’t stand out your just a ****ing mushrooms…..
