No WHT, you miss my point, Circa said 'him, cam, the two robbies in midfield would be tremendous, with evans/mckenna supporting roles'. Does that mean that he'd like to see six midfielder's selected to start?
Are you calling me daft? I'm looking at our squad. NB would still have to pick the best on form or for different tactics but I'm trying to establish an overview of our squad and its possibilities. with king, vito and someone else (maybe Hamill), i think we're good to go we still have to see how garcia fits in, along with oli, cairney and so on. But once we have an overall view of the entire squad I think it will look promising. with a good bench. Poor Harper he must be depressed now. No one even mentions him anymore, for good or bad.
Calling you daft? I was simply trying to confirm whether you thought that it would be a good idea to play with six midfielder's as it wasn't clear in your post.
Are we not after any defensive cover? With McShane (hopefully) on the way out, that leaves us a bit short at the back IMO. What if Rosie gets injured, who would slot in at RB then?
A 3-6-1 then? I must say NB will have a tough job picking the right team. everyone on here will have their own starting eleven but it won't be easy.
Surely City offer James Harper and Dele Adebola plus cash to Crawley Town as part exchange for Matt Tubbs. Paul McShane would do a good job for Doncaster Rovers and maybe throw in TC(on loan) to give him games. It was interesting to see Adam Hammill not involved at all with Wolvers especially when they gave many squad players a game. Nick almost let the cat out of the bag in his post game interview with Burnsie. Moving ahead to the summer, I would not be surprised to see Nick move in for Anthony Gerrard(free transfer) and Michael Turner especially if City were back in the PL.
Liam Cooper can cover centre back. Danny East is Rosies cover But Garcia can play there if needed. We have enough defensive cover even with Bradley out on loan and with Macca maybe leaving.
Reports suggest that both WBA and Fulham will bid for Cardiffs Peter Whittingham. Massive blow to them if he goes but good news for us.
What are those three believed to be on per week? Kilbane about £13K? Oli about £10K? McShane about £8K? Anyone know at all?
5hit! So about £49,000 per week could be saved if (or when) they finally leave. Crazy, crazy world football. You could bring in 5 really good championship players for than amount of dough. No problems.
Yep, trouble is we signed them in the premier league and they are on good premier league wages so getting shut will not be easy - as it has been proving!
