Ross Barkley traveled to London, started his medical and then decided half way through he'd changed his mind.

What's your view Bri?
Better or worse than you expected?
Better mate. Great quality for the pittance spent. but were only 1 player more than we were before the start of the day. Squad still dreadfully thin, I do fear fatigue and injury will cost us many points. Can't see us being close to going down though. Hard working British footballing ethic installed. We just need to be patient and let them develop into a team now.

Considering the fact that money was in Short supply, I've been very impressed with our dealings during this 'window'
I was very concerned after last season (I'm still a bit so), but I am more confident about this season now . . . . whoever has overseen/managed this situation deserves some praise
Fair play to Grayson and Bain. 1.7m spent on 10 players. Good business.

Just hope others think like we do on that front! There are some right twats I've encountered at the stadiums over the years (SoL and Roker) who write a player off after seeing him once or twice! Hope the crowd give them a fair crack of the whip. Should be a canny season if unspectacular. If we're near the play offs I'll call it a big success

Impressive isn't it. Bain does good work.

Apart from loaning some players out but that could of be the only option tho. He has done well tho.
Done enough for a mid table finish and stability.
