I thought it was odd, and assumed that was where Napoli were playing this weekend, so the player might have to be there anyway. Except Napoli are at home.
Hmmm...Smells like Bunkum then! Unless it is a easy place for the suits to meet? To talk about the players interest and terms?

Ryanair fly to Milan, so the club are saving pennies, obviously, to put towards clinching this deal.
Look after the pennies, they do say....

(P.S. How much is an executive jet to Marseilles and back? <yikes> )

From the highlights Elliott Bennett is putting n excellent service which is encouraging. The inability to defend set pieces seems to be a problem at all levels at the club.

Sounds like McNally. He spent out on a pointless tip to Marseille, and doesn't want to get burnt again ;)

The Mbokani thing might be because they've just heard from the home office regards a work permit. It sounds like that was done & dusted awhile back but was stalled by that permit, possibly they now heard back...

And if it is confirmed by the club, and he does bang in the goals for us then he'll have no problem getting picked for his National team. So if we did decide to buy him in the future then the work permit thing shouldn't be an issue. A loan move makes perfect sense right noe, especially as we seem to be making big offers to buy Centre Backs. Only so much money in the transfer kitty after all.

I know we won't be playing with two up front at least not from the off, but I reckon Mbokani and RvW might work when chasing a game. Big powerful striker and speedy forward, then again I suppose you could say that a Jerome RvW partnership on paper appears the same.
