'orrible 'Big Pharma'.

Ich mag es nicht.
I worked at Bayer briefly, they were pretty nice to the plebs. I seem to be steadily working around Big Pharma in short stints, and they currently fund me in part. I suspect that makes me first against the wall in JK's utopia.

Apparently, the odds on Charlie Austin joining us have "shortened significantly".

At the same time as Chelsea are rumoured to be interested? Hmmmm

Stoke have turned down a £2m bid for Walters from us apparently.

And Alvaro Vasquez misses Friday training, supposedly due to interest from us. HITC describe him thus: "Vazquez, standing at 5ft 11inch, is predominantly a centre-forward with solid aerial ability, first-touch and link-up play as he likes to get involved in the action."

Please no to Charlie Austin and can't see him wanting to live outside London, even with the commute.

Vasquez sounds promising - could be an interesting weekend!!!!

Most of these must be bull?! We can't have so many bids out there.

Might be a case of throw enough ****, some of it will stick. I think we're after a big money signing at CB or up front (Afobe/Koulibaly/N'Koulou), then a less extravagant forward signing (Walters/Vazquez). That second signing was probably originally meant to be a better fit than Hooper, but I wonder if that's now shifted to be a replacement for Grabban.

That's what I was thinking the play seemed. Really excited we are being linked with names like Koulibaly and N'Koulou though. Didn't think we'd have a sniff of getting.

Sounds like a good effort. I wonder if we'll see Olsson back at LB on Sunday and Brady pushed forward then?

Appreciate the fans showing up

No clues from this but he's clearly pleased to be back <ok>
And the attendance of 9,146 were all pleased to see him, too.

Edp's Michael Bailey reckons a "Canary Delegation" is in Milan for talks with Koulibaly, despite a bid not being accepted yet. Presumably as the deadline is so close, we want to continue to negotiate on price, but have everything else agreed?

Blimey! Really? We could actually pick up one of these big name young talents? Surely they must be confident of a deal if this is true. We don't have time to waste on dead ends at this point.

Doesn't he play in Naples? Not suggesting for a minute that they aren't meeting his representatives in Milan - just thought it a bit odd that its so far away!
