If such an event has happened, its annoying the media have got hold of it. Bournemouth know we've an unhappy player on our hands and don't need to overpay.

Can they offer us a £100m add-on if they stay up at our expense?

Maybe it was the player or agent that leaked it to force the move?

That wouldn't surprise me.
Don't really want to see Hooper leave, but his omission tonight suggests something is afoot!!
I was kinda wondering if we were offering Hooper as part of a deal for Afobe, but if Grabban have gone awol then maybe that won't happen now.

I'm going to wait and see.

Smells a little bit of bull **** media hype to me.
Yeah that's true, but it's making this evening more interesting. I have a feeling there's some truth in this, but still won't fully believe anything until official reports.

Also, for Grabban it would represent a breach of contract so would be putting his pay at risk. Can't see it.
A couple of weeks pay docked, then he gets his move and probably a pay rise. I can see the logic.

What surprises me is the level of detail in the reports. It's not just "we've heard rumours Grabban is AWOL", its a full story. Smells of a leak or of ****.

Given that the Daily Mail article gives details of what was going to be said in a 3:45 phone call that Alex Neil didn't take, the information can only have come from Grabban/his agent.

Kenny Jackett: "Benik is a Wolves player, and once the transfer window has closed, he will still be a Wolves player."

He's also confirmed that they've rejected a new bid from us.

AN on Lewis Grabban: "We deal with this sort of thing behind closed doors. The bids received for him are well below our asking price."

Not sure what to read from that.

I'd imagine straight from the player himself / agent. While it's pretty poor form on Grabbans part, part of me can't blame him for wanting out - never going to be loved the way he was down there, and at the moment he seems to be replacing Whittaker in terms of fans on his back. Will it work out for him going back, probably not... Take the money and move on, but didn't need to be a dick about it
