Fair point - I can't believe there will be no other interest in him at all. I believe Villa were rumoured to have had a bid turned down at the beginning of the summer, but presumably they are no longer interested having bought Gestede

Wolves are probably in the same position with him that we are in with Redmond. Keep him for another season and expect the fee to soar.
Hmmm, doesn't excite me. He did well to score goals last season. Not totally sure if he is who would keep us up. He won't do the running and closing down that Jerome does. He is someone we could throw on as a sub and pepper balls into the box. Wouldn't be attractive to watch, but might get a point or two. If he was our only striker signing, it would be a bit disappointing. Especially if we sell Grabban to Bournemouth.

No idea, Robin only knows it involved a private jet there and back!
Looking around his conversations on twitter, rumour is he flew to Marseille, and Michy Batshuayi is the player involved.
Is there any way to track private jets? Norwich to Marseille can't be a common route.

For the dreamers, a few French strikers who I think we might be able to afford:
Benjamin Jeannot (previously linked with a move to the PL, but with Lorient having sold Ayew query whether they would let him go?)
Alassane Plea (linked with W Brom)
Cheick Diabate (yet another Newcastle linked French player, could be expensive, also a giant)
And really in dreamworld... Diego Rolan (rumoured £13m rejected when Newcastle bid for him...)
