Still it'll feel funny not having one CB around who just loves making embarrassing mistakes. We tend to have one most the time. Perhaps I speak too soon...

He might end up playing for half the season and then suddenly getting dropped, even if he does well.
I suspect that he'll suit the Italian style a lot more than he does the Premier League, though.

If we really have made £8m from the sale of Pritch then that is probably going to be seen as a good deal for the club. I always feel there has been a question mark over his physicality and Poch demands a lot from his players in that regard and we can't afford passengers.

That said he's a lovely player to watch and there I'll always have a tinge of regret that he never made it with us. It was a real shame he got injured when he did in the Euros, as he's been making good contributions to that England team and he could have been in for a real breakthrough season with us doing off the back of the Championships and his Brentford season. Maybe he'd have had the chance to answer those questions of his physicality. Great technique and seems a good lad as well. I hope he goes on to every success. Maybe we have a buyback or first option?

I watch a fair bit of Fulham as my cousin is a fanatic Cottager. Their defence was shambolic all of last season but they scored enough goals to stay up - and it was Dembele and Mack who were responsible for 85% of them. With those two gone and competition in the division getting ever tighter, I fear Fulham could drop into League 1.

There's talk going around at Spurs that Norwich are paying Pritchard £10k per week more than Brighton were offering him.

They're spending their relegation money, I guess. Makes sense.
They've only really lost Redmond, replaced him with Pritchard and brought in a couple of others, too.
I'll be surprised if they're not up there at the end of the season, barring Premier League sides picking off a few late on.
