He's a quick winger and he's done quite well in France for a couple of years.
I don't think that anyone here has seen much of him, but he's different to anything we've got at the moment, at least.

    And he's left-footed. He's also a French U21 player, rather than a Cameroonian international.
I've no idea if he qualifies for another nation (probably does), but it reduces the likelyhood of him going to the African Nations in January.

I presume McGee's loan opens the door for Pau Lopez's loan to be announced soon, still find it a very weird signing though. Would've made more sense signing Lopez on a perm and loaning him back to Espanyol or elsewhere for the season.

I'm assuming that there's some sort of financial pissing about with the Lopez deal, as it doesn't make much sense otherwise.
Assuming that he's fit enough to pass a medical, then I can only think that one of the clubs wants to move the fee to another year.

Lyall Thomas has stated that he's been "told the chairman + co are still busy working at it", when questioned about more signings.
Maybe it's a later bid than ever before! Wonder how that'll work out.

For what it's worth, and to be taken with a bucket of salt, a post on Spurs community states that there could be another deal that the fans will be happy with.

    Clutching at straws, I know.

The ****ers say that every year. It's standard ITK bullshit.

Link us with either a known target or someone that ticks all of the right boxes, but say that it's not a done deal.
Follow the story and update as it goes along, hoping that people remember your successes and ignore your failures.
Say things that people want to hear and leave something open-ended, as it makes people keep checking.

Today's nonsense was generally "N'Koudou and Lopez done and one more in the works, which may not go through. You'll like it if it does, though."
I could've posted that about three bloody weeks ago. ITK, my arse.

My hunch is that he's going to be really good. He's only 20 and that's a big deal for a pace/trickery winger who scored in double figures (even if in Ligue 1). He's also something we need, according to Pochettino: someone to run at players. We've been linked to him forever, and I've noted how well he seems to stack up to all the alternatives who have come and gone since then. Even 14 million seems very reasonable, and that may be a high number.

I know some you will differ...I know I differed earlier...but I'm pleased we seem to have the three players we needed, or at least players with a good shot at becoming the players we need.
