A Bola claim we had scouts at Friday night's match between Porto and Sporting

Matheus Nunes and Joao Palhinha are the obvious suggestions, given they've been linked with us on and off all season, although Joao Mario does look like a useful RWB...

Turk Watch
The always-reliable Turkish sources are linking us with Besiktas LWB Ridvan Yilmaz, who is apparently keen to join us and just so happens to have a year left on his contract

This may be related to Besiktas somehow being 7th in the league - and if that didn't sound like the heralding of a Berserk-like Eclipse, Galatasaray being in 12th sure as hell does

Amazingly, Davinson Sanchez isn't on the list

I think Sanchez is pretty secure in his place as Romero’s deputy. Unless he agitated for a move I doubt we’d move him on.

Ideally loan Rodon to a Prem side, keep Reguilon, sell/ release the rest.

As Hudd also said, unless Sanchez seeks a move, he’s worth keeping around as a backup, even if he does scare the **** out of me at least 5 times a season with his kamikaze decision making.

The issue with Sanchez is he isn't really a decent deputy for either Romero or Dier, as he lacks the first touch to be reliable in either role

As the Cahill/Skriniar of a Conte back three he could potentially have value, although the fact Conte trusts Davies ahead of him does say a lot

Napoli have signed Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Kinda glad, that name would be a nightmare trying to make a song for down The Lane.

Bundesliga Rando Watch
FootballDotLondon are linking us with Stuttgart LWB Borna Sosa, which definitely doesn't sound like his agent sounding out potential interest due to Stuttgart currently occupying the relegation playoff spot and two points above automatic relegation

That being said, Sosa's stats speak for themselves: one goal and seven assists this season, and ten assists last season to demonstrate he's no one-season wonder, and he certainly has the makings of a Conte WB as he's pacey and can cross, plus the added x-factor of having set piece ability we can coach out of him in a matter of weeks - although Spurcat won't approve of his barnet...

I've been paying a little bit of attention to Sunderland, due to loans and a fan I know.
He looks like a real prospect and they're very excited about him.
His contract doesn't expire until 2025 and he's already with a pretty big agency.

His short-term future may depend on how the Mackems end their campaign.
They have one game left and a win would cement a play-off place for them.
Anything else and they're relying on Plymouth and/or Wycombe dropping points.
Promotion may keep him there, while he may look elsewhere if they don't get it.
