Yup! It’s why I think the club should look at going back to its roots and go for a few young, domestic players. I still want a few proven players, especially at DM and CB but there’s so much talent in the Championship and below at the moment it'd be silly not to take advantage of it.

I'm not suggesting selling dele but it proves a point we would get a lot more back than what we paid for him, buying young talent from the lower leagues is the way forward and if it dont work out you still make a nice profit

If the talk of Aurier wanting out, that could leave us with Foyth as our only RB - so at least one of Castagne and Aarons will be arriving, possibly both

They'd have all been about 12.

Refusing to tap up players who aren't even teenagers? Total lack of amBisHUn on Levy's part...

Eze and Cantwell are 22, Watkins is 25 and Aarons is 20

Aarons is the 1 I’d really like to see at Spurs, he could easily be our next Kyle Walker, Cantwell is a good player but is he really needed?

Jose is more of a manager than coach, I can’t see him wanting young players. I think he would prefer experience over potential

I have a good friend who is a season ticket holder at Carrow Road and we got talking about Cantwell , his opinion about him is he loves one thing and that is Todd Cantwell and thinks he will looking elsewhere , rumour also is he's a gooner as well

3 years ago Watkins had managed one good season in the 4th tier, while the others had yet to start a league game.
I doubt their signings would've been greeted particularly warmly by our fanbase at the time.
It would've been amazing scouting and they would've spent most of their time out on loan.

25 in the league and 1 cup goal. Not bad for under £2m.

Of the players at Norwich, Aarons is the one we should definitely look at as RB is an area that needs addressing

There's certainly some other players who could do a job for us - Godfrey, Cantwell, Buendia - but they're in areas where recruitment isn't so critical, so they're the equivalent of something you buy on the last day of a Steam sale as you already bought the games you were after by day three

Cantwell looks really good. Can drive with it and is very comfortable on the ball and can see those throughballs. I'm a fan

Everyone bangs on about aarons, i'm not a massive fan. He's okay on the ball, has a bit of pace and has bags of energy but he's not that great of a dribbler and his crosses are terrible. Reminds me of a poor mans aurier if i'm being honest.

Cantwell certainly looks good, but we have both Son and Bergwijn in his position so he isn't critical to any rebuild

DM and RB are the must-fix positions in the team, and we still need to keep an eye on our HG numbers (looking forward to the dipshit twins responding to this...) and that goes a long way to explaining interest in Aarons as he ticks two boxes, although I have to say that Castagne of Atalanta looks a much better choice for the free role down the right that Aurier occupies because he's far more reliable in possession

I have a feeling Jose will move on Lamela or Lucas this summer and then that opens up a space in the squad

Fraser's the most likely candidate to fill that space, though

Good run and a powerful finish from Watkins.
