wow what a little scumbag lol.

Unfortunately though, this won't detract too many clubs from picking him up as at the end of the day he's a free asset!

    Fraser Watch

As has been pointed out by quite a few people, he ran down his contract with Aberdeen allowing Bournemouth to sign him for peanuts in the January window, so he does have a history of it

Bit of a dick move tbh, I doubt it would scupper his chances of a move, everyone else is going to be playing.

I’ve said earlier that I’d be surprised if we were looking at his position unless Lamela and/or Lucas were set to leave. Undoubtedly a handy player to pick up on a free but hardly in a priority position.

It's a tricky one for someone in his position, to be fair.
It's a bit of a **** move and Bournemouth need him for the run-in.
What happens if he picks up a long-term injury and then his contract runs out in a few weeks, though?

Hassenhuttl’s stripped Hojbjerg of the captaincy at Saints after he said he wanted out.

Could be warming up those klaxons...

Apparently Inter are closing in on Sandro ‘new Pirlo’ Tonali from Brescia. I was trying to think of there could be some sort of transfer domino effect to exploit because they have Brozovic and Barella who I am a big fan of. But I don’t think we’d have a hope of getting either out of Inter.

I hope so, I’ve said before I really want Jose to bring in his own players and then that way I feel I can truly judge him, getting them done as early as possible is always ideal too. There’s a lot of domestic/ Prem proven talent we’ve been linked with and I quite like that. If we can secure the likes of Aarons, Hojbjerg and Fraser that’s three solid additions to the club and the expenditure won’t be too great either. Covers two problem areas and leaves just CB and ST as the other musts.

I like Brozovic too although I’d imagine if we do go for Hojbjerg then we wouldn’t even consider Brozovic.

Jose Mourinho says Tottenham are not going to be "in the same league" as other Premier League clubs in this summer's transfer market.

Spurs spent over £100m last year but Mourinho does not expect to get the same budget this summer.

Tottenham currently sit eighth in the Premier League table.

"I think we are going always to be very balanced, which is what Tottenham normally is," said Mourinho.

Tottenham resume their season, after football's suspension because of the coronavirus pandemic, with a home match against Mourinho's old club Manchester United on Friday.

On Thursday, Chelsea confirmed the signing of RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner on a five-year deal.

He is Chelsea's second signing for next season after they completed a £37m deal for Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech in February.

Elsewhere, Manchester United signed Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes for £47m in January.

"You have now examples already of clubs investing and making important movements in the market and we are still nine matches away from the end of the season," said Mourinho.

"We know that we are not going to be in the same league, in the same world, as clubs that are going to do completely different to us.

"But would I expect us not to do anything and to stay exactly with the same squad that we have in this moment? My answer is no.

"I expect us to do some little important things and if we do our little important things and we improve in two, three positions that we need to improve in the squad, I am completely open to the challenge.

"I am completely supportive to the board, to the owners."

Mourinho said United and Chelsea "can do what they want" but it is "not our problem".

"We are going to improve our squad in the way we can do it. No problem," he added.

That is a fantastic midfield 3.
I really want us to sign Hojbjerg, were desperate for a strong leader in midfield with a fantastic attitude and by all accounts he excels in this department.

We would have some quality in reserve with Dele, Sissoko, Gedson, Winks (possibly Dier) and Skipp.

Young Harvey White is highly regarded for the future too.

Get in a versatile striker and either a RB or CB depending on where Jose sees Tanganga playing next season and we are looking pretty good.

I reckon he's already got targets in mind and wouldn't be surprised if he's held conversations with those targets too, just need to make sure your best mate, Dan delivers them for him lol.

Howe's said Fraser won't play for Bournemouth again after refusing the contract extension (he'd still be eligible for their next two or three fixtures I believe).

**** went real sour for him down there, also going to be a very long time for him without competitive football. He'll still have plenty of interest but that may put off one or two clubs in fear of him being out of shape/ out of sync.

Though I presume once his contract ends, he can agree to join a club and then train with them(?). Can't be registered to play until the window opens but I suppose he could at least keep up his fitness until the start of next season.

This crap usually plays out in the close season, must be be very awkward doing it in training, while games are going ahead. Are they letting him train with the squad - I bet not. I hope, for his sake, he has a pre-contract agreement in his pocket.

I wouldn't have thought so now. If Howe isn't going to play him then there's no reason for him to be around and Bournemouth don't owe him anything with regards to helping him keep fit. He's got two weeks left, I'm sure Bournemouth can live with swallowing those wages to spite him should they choose to.

I said before that I can understand he may not want to risk an injury by playing on but it's also a risk to be without competitive football for so long too, presuming next season starts in August like usual, he'll have roughly gone 5+ months without a match and potentially 2+ months (from now) without training with teammates unless he gets signed up early.

You'd think they could agree that if injured the club will give him a contract until Jan 1st to take the risk factor away. That is any club, not just Bournemouth where this situation exists. I mean if he is out of action for 6 months, that is 6 months with no pay. It is a lot to ask of any player when they have decided to leave.
