    I did, seems you didn't.
The players you mentioned all had names they liked/chose on their shirts and most people have no idea of their real names.
Others have the same like Chitarito or Khun but people know their real names and use them in commentary and normal talk amongst supporters.

Dele has chosen Dele to be on his shirt and most Spurs fans respect his decision. I know of only a few exceptions.

Dele has "Dele" on his shirt and introduced as Dele on the programme and website and by the stadium announcers.
    He has a family issue.
That's why I always call him Dele.
Not digging btw...didn't know if you were aware.
I kind of understand tbh...I use my birth certificate name for bank, morgage and other legal stuff but use a shortened version of my name in everyother situation.

Never take anything you say as a dig mate, you are very plain and fair.
My point was that people got used to the name Alli and will stick with it because that's what they know him as (TV commentators included). The fact he has some beef with his old man is a family matter and not really relevant

    Giggs comes to mind

That’s solely the reason I still refer to him as Alli when talking about him on here, I don’t say Alli as a way to try to insult him, it’s just what I’m used to calling him.

    https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....rsonal-reason-for-tottenham-shirt-name-change

Even in the article which is all about his name change, they still keep calling him Alli.

I’d be interested as to why that poster seemed to call me out over it?

I always refer to players by their surnames, unless it's someone like Ronaldinho.
Even then I'd prefer to use their actual name, but nobody would have a clue who I was talking about! <laugh>
It's not meant disrespectfully. Alli's not likely to read it on here, is he?

“Juventus have offered Tottenham the chance to sign Aaron Ramsey”.

I’m hoping we’ve offered Juventus the middle finger.

They're also reportedly trying to jettison Rabiot

...oh ****, we're going to be incessantly linked to the headcase again, aren't we?

No doubt, wouldn't be a proper transfer window without Rabiot being linked. Modern day Damiao.

I don't think that Ramsey or Rabiot will be on our radar, and both will want far more money than they we would pay for players who in my opinion are not an upgrade on what we have.

The only reason for ramsey to be on our radar is if our HG numbers need a quick and dirty boost

Well, that an a 90th minute winning thunderbastard in the NLD that might legitimately lead to a spike in cases of spontaneous human combustion in the Islington area...

So will Ramsay agree to take a 75% wage cut then?

Given our midfield and our finances, I'd take Ramsey on a loan...although he always seemed to have most of his best games against us.
