I don't think we are going to buy anyone are we? Anyone who will make a first teamer feel some heat on his back, I mean, not just someone to bulk up the squad
TBF you already have some very good young players pushing the first team in most positions, except for a keeper to push lloris and maybe a striker to push Kane it would be hard to make much improvement.
Definitely need someone to do that...Eriksen goes into dozy slumps in patches during the season. Dare I say it, so does Dele.....we miss what Lamela can bring to the table.
I think so...but the when fit bit is a problem. A fit Lamela is the answer to perk up Eriksen and Dele if you ask me.
Yep, he was playing some really good football before he got injured after taking a while to settle in. I suspect you may have been champions last season if he was available.
Tomorrow's main story seems to be that United will be signing Eric Dier for £50m. Apparently, Eric has been very remiss in telling friends he wants to leave to join United. Naughty Eric! Despite him not being for sale, Ed Woodward expects to complete the signing this week. Fair play to United they are pulling out the stops in trying to create an issue but if and when Spurs sell any player, it won't be determined by a lot of press conjecture by The Express and The Star, who definitely rank as non-footballing publications, preferring to concentrate on Diana's forthcoming beatification and massive norks, respectively.
This appears to contradict this If he is lucky not to be "found out" cos of our CBs why would city plan buy him as a back up (for around £40m) and give him lots of game time? At least put some kind of consistency in your wum comments
Perhaps because they are planning to improve their cover and he would have got lots of game time through rotation, Alves is not young and they will be involved in lots of competitions/games' Remember him being rotated for you last season?
