Some of you have completely lost the plot on Zlatan. He was slow enough in his time at United, and worse he slowed the entire team down as well. It's been a while since then and he's got older and been playing in the MLS. He will also want to be the main man and probably disrupt any squad cohesion we have left. I also can't see how he fits in the team with Kane. But apart from that, great call.

I really enjoyed watching Llorente match Usain Bolt’s speed records last season when he scored crucial goals against City, Dortmund, Watford etc...

Levy just has to say no...and I think he will. Just tell him that we didn't let Llorente go to then chuck more money on an even older player.

The final straw for Harry was wanting to sign a Rio Ferdinand, who had clearly 'gone' and Zlatan's just too ****ing much trouble...plus it means dealing with Mino Raiola, which just isn't on..

    JOSE’S FIRST SIGNING!!!

Having Bury and Bolton on his CV at the moment isn’t too great, hopefully it’s not an omen <laugh>

He did with Rashford and McTominay at Utd.
It'll probably depend on what he can do with our senior players, rather than anything else.

I was going to agree with this but i have a sneaking suspicion if zlatan was interested levy might just say yes.

    Jose loves him as well.

So why would levy say yes? Well hes already gone and hired one of the most famous/infamous managers to grace the game and zlatan is another big name who has a huge fan following around the world still. He's obviously at best a great sub but his flicks tricks and flair (usually for no good reason) and soundbites is the stuff of dreams for a marketing team.

Levy will surely not look past this?

He'd want to start. He wouldn't.

There are holes in our squad but we're pretty well stocked with attacking players. We just need to play more to their strengths and not expect everyone to be able to replicate what Harry Kane can do.

Unless Zlatan can play right back, we don't need him.

He's still good enough to start for most teams and he'll be looking to do that while still winning trophies.
Everton should kill to sign him.

One thing we can be thankful for is we have a decent stock of DMs coming through, with Oliver Skipp already with the first team while Harvey White and Jamie Bowden are in the academy

I do wonder what the youngsters thought of the decision to hire Jose.

If it was me then I’d be a bit disheartened as their chances are minimal now.

They’ve barely had a sniff over the past 18 months so it probably won’t make much of a difference.

But Poch was much more likely to give them a chance than Jose will

    Bale.
So many agitating for this move.
Bale to Spurs, Eriksen to Real Madrid looks a no brainer.

He wasn’t though that’s the thing. So Jose coming in right now doesn’t change much.
