I think gylfi gets through a fair amount. Obviously not as much as your winks, sissokos and hendos. I remember him getting through loads for iceland as its a midfield 2. Agreed he probably wouldn't work although it would be interesting. He's proper dog slow though and its his defensive nous i would question
Watched his "goals reel" for this season. The only thing I could note is that he seemed quite composed (although without seeing a 'total attempts on goal' reel that could be incorrect) .
Sky using the time before Saturday's game to get in a few negative stories... https://www.skysports.com/football/...ith-aston-villa-and-reject-tottenham-advances I would think that there is no chance at all that we would be interested in Grealish at this point. Villa have been promoted giving them financial muscle they didn't previously have, Grealish has signed a deal with a massive release clause, they dicked us last summer and the player refused to put in a transfer request when Villa decided to back out of a deal. Add that little lot up and there's more chance of us bidding £200m for Ozil than going back in for young Jack. His time has come.....and gone.
I suspect that if Spurs sign Sessignon this summer, a dossier containing him and Berahino will be sent to Villa by Levy with the title "And the winner is ...." .
Yeah the ship’s sailed. No way would he leave Villa now and respect to him too, that’s his club. He was only going to leave because a) they were initially in deep **** financially and b) he’d never progress in the second tier.
His stats average out at a little above two shots per game, so it breaks down like this Games played: 46 Goals: 16 Shots: 32-38 So one goal per three attempts, which is about what Lucas' average is For the stattos out there, here's the average shots per game of our current central midfielders Moussa Sissoko: 0.5 Eric Dier: 0.5 Harry Winks: 0.4 Victor Wanyama: 0.4
Ndombele Watch So it turns out there is another advantage to the Chavs winning in Baku last night: the lack of Arsenal in the CL next season means Lyon go straight into the group stages, whereas if the Nomads won last night Lyon would've been in the play-off round In other words, if we were to bid for Ndombele, the potential stumbling block of Lyon refusing to sell until qualifying for the CL proper has now been removed
France Football have reported that Monaco have made enquiries about Aurier's availability Hang on a minute, lads, I've got a great idea...
In other right back-related news, Gianluca Di Marzio is suggesting that Juventus are considering a bid for Trippier
Looks like the Italian scouts have been on the Limoncello Quick Levy, get them while they're pissed!!
How to get the Aurier/Trippier gold without tipping the whole thing over the edge...? please log in to view this image
On the Tielemans front, are there any non-PL clubs in for him ?? On the PL side, Citeh (and perhaps the Poool) can offer silverware prospects. Everyone else will have to outbid Spurs on the transfer/wage fees.
Lo Celso Watch Gianluca Di Marzio are reporting we've submitted €70m offer to Betis Ndombele Watch If this bloke's lying, I will find him... ...although back in the real world, L'Equipe report that we have submitted a formal offer
Those are big numbers, even for a 4 year payment spread. Not that THFC cannot do it (110m profit last year, I reckon at least that for this season) .
If we take a headlong dive down the ITK rabbit hole, there's suggestions (because calling it "rumours" is a bit of a stretch) that Janssen is having a medical at Betis...although this is from the same ITK who said €60m + Janssen would clinch the Lo Celso deal Meanwhile, for those of us who like evidence in their headlines... So it looks like we have signed Kion Etite from Notts County following his trial a couple of months back, while Jack Roles being part of the squad indicates we could have sorted out his contract
I thought these sorts of accounts had had their day? No doubt tonnes of fans will believe all this **** once again.
