Brace yourselves... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image WE HAVE DEFINITELY SIGNED SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please log in to view this image The player in the photo is Ferdinand Okoh, a 15-year old central midfielder who we've signed to an U16 deal following his release by West Scam ...and that's basically all the information I can get about him, short of scouring the Barking & Dagenham School FA website and hoping I don't get put on some kind of register. But it's a signing!!!
https://thisisfutbol.com/2019/03/blogs/tottenham-sign-ex-west-ham-teen-okoh-report/ It is understood that the 15-year-old midfielder has agreed to join the North London club until he reaches Under-16 level, when a decision will be made on the next scholarship intake. Okoh left West Ham a year ago but is said to have made “remarkable progress” since then. Okoh sounds as though he has worked very hard to improve himself since leaving West Ham, and the fact that he has been scooped up by Spurs surely means that he is a talented young player. All Nigeria Soccer claim that Okoh has been described as having a good range of passing, which is surely going to help him to impress in the Spurs youth set-up as he aims to become professional in the future. Spurs are not really taking any risks here. Signing youth players costs next to nothing for Premier League clubs and Okoh could end up being a very good player in the future.
Don’t know as much as Cove, but as someone who takes an interest in Ajax, I’d say any of these wouldn’t be bad signings: Onana - promising young keeper. Tagliafico - best LB in Eredivisie. de Ligt - best young CB in Europe. Ziyech - creative and attacking CM. van de Beek - goal scoring CM/ CAM. Neres - tricky and skilful winger.
We've been linked with Onana, de Ligt, van de Beek and Neres throughout the season IIRC Cove said van der Beek needs another season of first team football before being spoken of in the same breath as some of the others in the team
Taken the information below from a facebook group. Two interesting bits of news away from first team affairs. Spurs have taken 17 year old striker Kion Etete on trial from Notts County, he has already made one appearance for our youth team and scored twice against the West Ham youth team. It's also being reported that we have signed 15 year old midfielder Ferdinand Okoh after he parted company with West Ham.
"Well it is Friday..." Watch With the various hacks looking to get their quota of stories done before they can all head off down the pub, today's wacky rumour comes from FC Inter News as they claim we've enquired about the availability of Mauro Icardi Pretty sure that's complete testicoli, because why would a striker entering the prime of his career forego guaranteed first team football (but not at international level, Messi won't allow it...) to being a rotation option with Harry Kane?
He's also rather poisonous. Nicked his teammate's missus, who is now his ****-stirring agent. Very dangerous striker, though.
Rabiot Watch According to Marca, we are so determined to sign Adrien Rabiot that...we'd rather pay £52m to sign his soon-to-be-ex-teammate Giovani Lo Celso instead, although this one looks like it'd get complicated real quickly considering he's on loan at Real Betis this season and they're enquiring about paying for 80% of his rights to make his loan permanent...which presumably means that, if we pay for the other 20%, he'll be eligible for our Season Killer Cup fixtures
Right, the Midlands is clearly too dangerous for Jack now. Poch/ Levy, get him in and save the lad: All jokes aside, what an absolute **** of a bloke, punching Jack is bad enough but from behind like a pussy? Yeah real tough guy.
Rangers captain Tavernier was similarly assaulted in their game last night. Fan behaviour is deteriorating across the game, it seems.
