So the choices are Troy Deeney on January 30th, Jamie Vardy on February 9th, or Cesc Fabregas on February 27th

I've lost count the amount of times I've said Ollie Watkins would be a good signing.. It's about time the club started listening to me!

 

I see from the BBC Gossip that we have an interest in Bradley Dack from Blackburn - A player i have seen a number of times for The Gills, and who has certainly taken well to life in the championship, he was certainly technically better than almost anyone else I have seen at Gillingham in the last 10 years, and its possible that with better coaching he could make the step up. I would imagine the Gills chairman will be licking his lips and there is almost certainly a lucrative sell on clause in place.

I've never heard of him before and am always a bit wary of signing players from the former Eastern Block. However, we shall see if it's genuine and if so, whether he's any good, in due course. However, we need someone to come in and I wouldn't expect this to be our only purchase this January.

I know that there's a lot of scepticism about this summer but I don't doubt that we intended to buy 2 or 3 players and just ballsed it up. Maybe this lad's one of the ones we land? There's also suggestions of further links to Cengiz Under, at Roma but any Turkish links have to be taken with vast amounts of salt. Plus, the kid's price will have massively increased for what we could have had him for just over a year go.

 

Never heard of him but just checked his stats, scored a good amount of goals, impressive for a CM. Captained Kiev for a number of games as well and still just 20.

 

It won't be Cengiz Under. He's just signed up for the re-make of Airplane

I can't wait to see what the people saying we shouldn't sign Barrios because the Argentine league is weak say about signing a player from MLS...

 

I liked what I saw of Barrios at the World Cup. Mixed in a nice amount of ****housery and solid defensive skills to be a guy who I think could become a popular player at the club if he joins. The Colombian Dier joining to compete with The Original Dier - yes please.

 

I suspect that his popularity wouldn't extend to fans of opposition clubs, though!
He'd take the heat off Alli for randomly being given hatred from the away end.

 

Alli and Lamela's ****housery, Dier's nutjob mentality and Barrios just ****ing **** up... It's going to be a great time for Spurs if he joins

 

Also, Super Jan's not above poking the odd player in the eyeball.

 

Plus the occasional guest appearance, apparently at random, like Danny Rose being hated by the Stoke faithful.
