That’s certainly going to raise the bar for the others. Will see Eriksen and Alli well over the £150k barrier. Interesting times.......
My guesses would be: Eriksen £150k, 5 year deal Alli £120k, 6 year deal Vertonghen £140k, 3 year deal Son £120k (maybe even more, he's a huge draw in the Asian market) 4 year deal
So lads (and Maggie), any more of you wanna jump on the Dier Hard train now? I know that @"Thanks for that Brian" recently said he was considering so, any one else? Things the DH-Meister predicted: New contract for Poch - ✓ New contracts for players - ✓ New contracts for key players that'll break the wage barrier - ✓ New signings to improve squad - TBD Marquee signing or two to accompany the hype of new stadium - TBD
Think Eriksen will beat that - and the others mentioned between £130-150. Heaven help the finances if they don’t sign til July and have stunning WC’s!!
The 'ITK's' on Spurs Community have said that Dele and Christian Eriksen have already signed and correctly, they said that that Harry had too. Spurs are spreading out the announcements to keep the pot boiling with added stadium coverage, etc.
There were rumours from supposed ITKs that Kane (now announced obviously), Dele and Eriksen had already signed new deals, just down to when Spurs wanna announce them.
First, As to wage structure: sure, it breaks the old one and creates a new one, but it had to be done, and the new one is still reasonable. There are a bunch of North American atletes making what Kane makes who couldn't shine his shoes from the point of view of either athletic accomplishment or revenue generation.
So far so good...all that Levy bashing is paying off. Hopefully he reads our posts discussing the marquee signing too and I might join Bri.
I've brought Brian's name into shame, tbh. He's a well respected poster, whereas I've been labelled a plank, prick and a **** - and that's just by the Chelsea fans on here.
and "Myself to be burned in a wicker man at new WHL after the transfer window closes (date TBD - but not long after the first test event in August) . "
Yeah just texting Danny boy on what to do next funnily enough. We're enjoying playing you lot like this.
Yep, but I don't think the club feels he's worth what he wants. His supposed £180k a week demands would make him the third highest paid CB in Europe. If we're to pay that much to a defender, I'd rather it be towards our other Belgian centre half.
Has there been any reports yet from anyone reliable that these figures are true? It’s a total game changer if this is the case.
Reports saying "up to" £90m, so similar to what HBIC mentioned, likely to be around £200k-£220k with big performance bonuses.
