Obviously you never know how certain players adapt and settle in the premier league but it looks a very exciting and astute signing. We desperatley need more pace attacking wise and someone who can beat a man and get past players, particulary against teams that park the bus. It will also allow us to play 4141 or 433 if we choose too, with Kane flanked by Lucas and Son, and Eriksen and Dele breaking from midfield.
Latest rumour doing the rounds now is that Llorente is on his way out. Deadline day swoop for Batshuayi when Chelsea sign Giroud?!
A bit uncalled for. It was me who suggested HBIC has you on ignore but meant tongue in cheek. CK was only building on my foundations. So if anyone deserves your bad humour it's me.
Rose, Moura, Aurier, and Sanchez, all attacking at pace, fed by Eriksen and Alli, with Kane in support... It's beginning to sound a bit better.
That's what I meant about fully. People talking like it's been announced. So we are still in the home straight.
Don't worry mate, humour and Spurcat doesn't go in the same sentence. He was probably wearing his Man City Kyle Walker shirt when telling you to **** off.
Not seen that one, where too, has it been said? Interesting if so though, you'd like to think we may have somehting up our sleeve then. I did say like to think
If we do get rid of Llorente (and I do think he has to go), I hope we replace him. I know we don't necessarily need to, what with Son continuing where he left off from last season, but it would be nice to have something in reserve, until the next Kane comes through our Academy.
Paris St-Germain chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi says the rumours of Neymar, 25, moving to Real Madrid make him laugh and insists "2,000%" that the Brazil international will be at the Ligue 1 outfit next season. (Mail on Sunday) 2000%... really? Sounds to me like the lady doth protest too much!
Manchester City are ready to make a £150m move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard, 27, after Pep Guardiola identified the Belgium winger as his main summer transfer target. (Sunday Mirror) It would be nice to see Chavs become City's feeder club.
There were a few rumours doing the rounds on Sat that the chavs were back in for him. I have to say that based on his recent performances I wouldn't be too bothered if we let him go and just recalled Janssen.
Liverpool and Tottenham are set to miss out on 28-year-old Paris St-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore, who has confirmed that returning to Italy is his priority. (Metro) Yeah, it won't be us. Otherwise, word will get round that PSG is now our feeder club.
Rather promote Sterling/ Harrison/ Griffiths. Might actually be the best option to compete with Kane seeing as like him they've progressed via the Spurs system. We've tried: Spanish striker in peak form in Spain... Flopped. Young Dutch international who was even lightly dubbed the Dutch Kane... Flopped. Experienced Spanish striker with excellent CV who had a good debut season in the Prem... Flopped.
