please log in to view this image Now that I have your attention, Ben Amos' loan to Stevenage is official http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/new-contract-and-stevenage-loan-for-luke-amos-290118/ Anyone want to make a wild guess if this is tied in with our interest in their centre back Ben Wilmot?
I’ve seen nothing but reports saying the personal terms have been agreed, so if the fee is now confirmed, surely this one is over the line? ...fails medical.
Yeah, I’ve heard the deal is now confirmed. Should be a decent player for us. Didn’t he and Aurier play together? They should have a good understanding.
It could very well be part of the reason we've signed him. Aside from the fact he seems a bloody good player and we need added competition for "the three", having someone that Aurier will know well will be good for the Ivorian. It's no secret that he's taken a while to settle and he's still not performing as well as we'd all like (although does seem to be gradually getting better) and so the possibility of having Moura in front of him may boost his confidence.
I don't much about Moura, I know that he is predominantly a wide player and thats about all I know - does he play mainly on the right?
I won't say I know eveything about him but of the odd games I've seen of him, added with highlights from the net (which I've watched extensively since the links started to get stronger), he's a bit of a Lennon-Townsend hybrid. I say that because he seems to play as a natural winger, in that he's right footed and plays on the right wing - as Lennon used too - but has a touch of the Townsend's in him in terms of being more "flairy" than Lennon as he has more tricks to his game and also likes taking a few long shots, albeit I reckon he's got a bit more accuracy than Townsend's 1-in-20 conversion rate. I remember before he joined PSG that he was second in line to Neymar in terms of who was going to be the next future Brazilian superstar to leave the country and the fact PSG paid £40m for him at a time where £40m was a ridiculous amount in football, I think it speaks of the pedigree he has. He doesn't get much of a look-in nowadays, though that's not a sign of him being poor or having lost form, just that PSG went all Madrid-esque and just kept signing superstars such as Neymar, Mbappe, Di Maria and Draxler which ultimately has ended up costing him his place. According to Transfermarkt, in 229 games for PSG, he's contributed to 96 goals (46 scored, 50 assisted), pretty impressive.
Has Levy got his days mixed up or something? There's at least 2 days left of the transfer window. This leaves far too much breathing space for a last minute haggle!
