    My thoughts exactly <applause>

A better coaching appointment can get enough out of Sonny and bring on Mickey Moore, whilst Odobert has hardly settled in. Spending more on another wide forward (he ain't no central striker) when we need options elsewhere, is a luxury we are unlikely to be able to afford.

Qualify for the CL and sure...if he'll come.

Ange gets a pass on Odobert not settling in yet due to him missing half the season, mainly due to the fact Odobert does offer more than Johnson when he has the ball out wide

His one foot in, one foot out treatment of Mikey Moore is *ahem* more of an issue given Mikey is a line-hugging winger by and large, and those don't fit into our current system at all - which takes us right back to the issue of having every single wide player cutting inside, since Porro underlapping while Mikey stays wide is Wing Play 101

And completely off topic, a like was awarded for the mention of Letraset. Though on the topic of transfers, you could also have had "Action Transfers". Made by Letraset of course. I think I actually had this one. Didn't realise all those decades ago that Custer was Postecoglou though.

Liam Delap reportedly has a £30m release clause this summer

    Definitely worth looking into

Think a few clubs will be all over that. Utd and Chelsea both been linked with him. Could even see Arsenal or Liverpool going for him too at that price.

The filth would be mad not to go for him, so they probably won't! <laugh>
He'll have plenty of choices but I suspect he'll pick a side where he'll play regularly.
Not many decent strikers around at the moment, either.

I say without a shred of exaggeration that I couldn't care less.

This woeful post-WHL era has been marked, for me, with a near total lack of connection to the players. Can't think of any we've signed in this period whose departure made/would make me sad. Kulusevski at a push.

    This 100% :emoticon-0148-yes:
And if as suggested we get £80m for him then even better.

He's going. I can't blame him for wanting to go to Atletico. No doubt, he'll earn more and win some stuff, in the warm weather, playing for a proper coach.

I don't think he'll be missed too much, but it's a pointer to our future based on Levynomics. No European football means selling your best players to be replaced by lower wage, mediocre replacements or living in hope that cheap youngsters mature into stars.

The second option can work, if it's done extremely well and selectively...which is why it's probably not going to work for us.

Romero’s replacement is already in the building. Kevin Danso.

You're probably right. It's been a long time since we had the required number of backup centre backs. Eric Dier, when fit enough to run like an athlete, with Wimmer, Toby and Super Jan was getting on for 10 years ago.

Next season sees Vuskovic arrive and that will probably be that. Maybe someone else if Ben goes and there's any money available? I'm not counting on it. I reckon the January recruitment was this summer's budget spent early.

Definitely need another LB in the summer. Also CM needs a major overhaul so expect to see a couple leave and hopefully a few arrive.

ST needed too. Richarlison should be sold this summer even if it means a big loss.

Agree about lack of connection to players, Sonny’s the only player I have genuine “fan love” for.

Bergvall could creep into that overtime though, it’s not just his improvement on the pitch but he’s got a bit of a “****” vibe about him, almost early years Dele and I love that in a player.

But all that said I’ll still be disappointed to see Romero leave. He’s still arguably our best CB so his sale only (likely) weakens us at a time where we’ll want to be strengthening.

No top level player is going to look at Spurs and want to join us over other destinations, we don`t pay the wages and are basically banter FC these days. We are badly coached, poorly invested and have no clear vision of sporting success from the owners. The culture around the club is despicable, we will lose 20+ PL games in a single season, have no leadership and have a vice captain who wants to leave, almost every game is a weak pathetic capitulation. We are a club full of spineless charlatans from the top down, with owners whose priority is not the football team. Levy out.

I'll definitely be sad when Sonny leaves but purely for sentimental reasons, not because I think he still has what to contribute to our future. That was what hurt so much when Kane left. Not just the memories but the knowledge that he still had 3-4 years at the absolute top in his tank. This season has shown that Son doesn't have that.

Still think Sonny has gas in the tank, even if not quite at the very best he can be. Just think that like multiple others he’s been ****ed by the manager.

His career here was based off of cutting inside or running onto through balls.

So what does Dingo ***** do? Make him run the line…

Son has been playing with an injury for most of this season.

Matt Law says there are question marks about Bissouma's future

This would be the Bissouma who has a year on his contract and hasn't been in the starting lineup for months, yeah...?

I still think Son is far and away the best attacker the club has. He’s just in a system that doesn’t suit him (same as everyone)

Goals and assists wise is he top this season?
