While the source is iffy, you have to wonder if we got on the blower with Gala and asked if they could nudge Milan

To clarify: the beneficiaries of this are Troyes, not City.

They were only saved from back to back relegations due to Bordeaux entering administration, so their revenue has plummeted across the past three seasons.

Now, what's a nice, easy way to increase revenue without actually having to work for it?

Oh yes, that would be having your big brother give you £30m for a player who has never even kicked a ball for you.

    It's money laundering.

Romano and Paul O’Keefe are reporting more on the Yang Min-Hyuk rumours.

Unreal if we manage to get a Sonny heir from South Korea… Son’s rockstar status throughout Asia has been massive for us.

Spurs going for youngsters is all well and good but realistically the squad is crying out for some top level established players

Ally Gold’s now on it too, says if it gets done he’ll join in January so that he sees out the K-League season.

Romano also made his 2nd of 47 tweets on it too, saying the same as Ally with regards to joining up in Jan.

I'm surprised that we haven't tried to get in a few of his compatriots, to be honest.
Kim Min-Jae and Kang-in Lee seemed like obvious ones.
Even Hwang Hee-Chan when he was at Salzburg, for his versatility and workrate.

Pretty sure we were linked to Kim and Hwang at various stages but never followed through.

Didn't Son and Kang have a minor fight on Korea duty that resulted in Son breaking a finger? How do you even manage to actually want to fight Son... guy's like the nicest man on the planet, lol.

I think it was an accident to do with table tennis, which is also quite bizarre.
Kang got in quite a lot of ****, as he was disrespecting an elder, which is still a big deal in Korea, apparently.
Apologies were offered and everything's fine, if the reports are to be believed.

You're 100% right, but everything seems very slow at the moment, for some reason.
I assume it's due to the Euros and Copa America only finishing recently, but still.
Hopefully there'll be a few big transfers that set the ball rolling soon.

Paul O’Keefe reckons we’ve got 3 transfers ready to go and it’s just about finalising terms, said he’s not sure if Yang counts as one of the three or not.

The perfect way for Levy to keep the gravy train of the South Korean fan base, never misses a trick old Blofeld.

Wouldn’t even blame him for that. The Asian and especially Korean fanbase Son has brought has been huge, if Yang’s signing helps maintain some of it over hopefully the next 5-10 years then it’s great business, better if he turns out a quality player too.

One detail which might be in play is that he insisted that he finish his high school education

In comparison, a large percentage of Korean players (and K-pop artists, for that matter) drop out at middle school level because they tend to sign their first contracts when they're 14-15, which is the graduation age for middle school. And this is where the Korean school year comes into play, as that's broken up into two semesters of March-July and September-February, so the obvious question there is whether he graduated in February of this year or if he graduates next February

On the face of it we don't seem to have an issue, given Yang signed his first professional contract last month that suggests he finished his high school education in February, which saves me hacking the database of his school to be sure and then finding myself on the kimchi & water diet for eighteen months

I've heard it's De Bruyne, Valverde and Vini Junior.

Yeah they'd be just in case the Wernmeister picks up an injury.

    @Dier Hard to confirm.

More likely Neto, Toney and Eze

Eze would be good but the other two don’t excite me

Todd Cantwell in the news today, a couple of years ago Spurs were supposed to be all over the transfer of him and Max Aaron's, I think we dodged the bullet with that pair
