They've also signed Xavi Simons. Not that one, either.

    Fulham sign Dan James.

I hate to say it, but the fact Leeds were more than happy to sell him to an obvious relegation rival who will be jostling with them for survival is damning evidence of how poorly they rated him.

It really is as simple as that.

Kenedy leaves Chelsea after 7 (SEVEN) years.

He made 16 appearances for them in that time.

    Cesspit of a club.

They’re everything that is wrong with modern football.

Others will disagree but to me they’re worse then any other club.

In case it’s not clear, I really don’t like Chelsea

On the other hand players like Kennedy deserve it

He could have joined a club/clubs where he would have got much more game time but seems like he’s been happy to just collect the pay cheque

    shame on him

We didn't sign Mbappe, De Bruyne and the 1990 Milan back line

Obviously we need new owners, a bunch of angry weirdos on Twitter were saying so all week...

Athletic reckon we explored a move for Zaha in the final days of the window. Would’ve liked that one, a year or two back I’d have said no as he’s often been inconsistent but the last 12+ months he’s finally showing a steady run of form. Maybe one we revisit in Jan?

Disappointed we didn’t bring in a creative player, whether it be a midfielder/ winger/ wing back but I think it was a solid first summer window under Conte. Was never gonna fix every problem and he himself said as much but the club got a lot of early and important business done, managed to shift (even if temporarily) the players Conte didn’t want and no key player wanted out.

Here’s hoping we have no major issues come January but obviously keep an eye on the market for any more Bentancur’s or Kulusevski’s.

If we're going after a team's best player, we have to give them the time to buy a replacement. In January, that might be affected by them being pretty safe from relegation (if they are by then) and the fact that he can leave on a free next summer...but the main issue will be that a free transfer will land him an enormous signing on fee from The Todd Boehly Home For Ageing Professional Footballers...and a wage to match.

I'll eat my top hat if we sign Zaha.

That is harsh, even for me given the specific club. :)

I disagree, in that I assume the kid has signed with
'good ambition' and hopes for the future, and the
Sugga Daddy FC money is a bonus.

I agree, in that similarly there must come a time
N years down the line, when the kid +/- his
advisers realise that things are not going to
happen (and who can say what the value of N
    is for each kid) .
