Sounds like Richarlison’s gonna have to make his debut vs Chelsea and not Southampton as he’s set to be given a one match ban for the flare incident. Spursy, lol.
Technically not, as Chelsea were inquiring about him a week or so ago, so for him to make his debut against them is the antithesis of Spursy
We should appeal it and tell them to go **** themselves. It happened over two months ago and the club he was at played five games after the incident. Bent as ****.
Lenglet Watch Marca claim we've reached a principal agreement, where we'll pay 85% of his salary with an option to make his loan permanent for €10m More importantly, they managed to report this without calling Gareth Bale a "Welsh parasite"
One thing to mention: Marcel Lavinier and Brooklyn-Lyons Foster won't qualify as U21 this coming season, so likely will be loaned as otherwise they'd have to be given squad places
Apparently we are still interested in Anthony Gordon, if Conte wants him I'm happy to trust his judgment, however not a transfer that excites me especially £30 million for a player who has only played half a season. I get that we potentially need cover and an extra HG player would be a bonus, but would rather see us go for someone like Harvey Barnes. Didn't have the best season last year due to injuries, but season before he was on fire and knocking on the door of the England squad.
Ajax pleading poverty and being on the verge of selling half of their squad for big money? Not falling for that one, apparently. Gave us some great memories and I'm sure he'll kick on back in Holland.
Can't complain at a €30m fee. That's our money back on a player that scored just 7 league goals in two and a half years for us, albeit three of those were huge (City debut and the late, late, late Leicester brace). There's a really good player in there and I think if given a more important role he'll prove it, something we could realistically never give him with Son here. Best of luck to him, he's joining a club I have a lot of time for so will keep an eye out for him, hopefully he smashes it.
Shame it never worked out for Bergwijn at Spurs. Good player and far too good to be sitting on a bench. Signing Richarlison would have put him down to 6th choice forward as it seems Conte favours Lucas as a tactical sub. Hope he goes on to have a good career. However we must replace him with either a wide forward or a creative number 10. If we don't, we are an injury or suspension ( Richarlison 1st game of season) away from having Lucas as our one senior attacking sub.
