Gutted he's not back and Spurs and gutted he's going to one of our direct rivals. Let's hope with Bergwijn departing we bring in a player or Eriksens ilk.
Fabrizio said that Eriksen wasn’t really a priority target for you, whereas he seemed to be a priority signing for Man Utd. I do wonder what Eriksen would have done if Spurs had pushed harder… I suspect I’ll get a mix of opinions on this, but does joining United tarnish his reputation in your view?
Nope, would’ve loved to have seen him back but if Spurs never made him an offer I can’t be mad at him for accepting the bigger contract of the two he had.
Not in my opinion, I think if Conte really wanted him we would have got him, as for going to United I wish him luck because he will need it, they were a long way off of the pace last year and whilst I think that he does improve them, I am not sure he is exactly what they need either and he may not the game time he craves there.
Fair play to Eriksen, would have preferred to see him stay at Brentford if it wasn’t Spurs but you can’t blame him for joining Man Utd.
He'll play a lot more at United than at Spurs...and I'm damn sure that they'll pay him a whole heap more. It's a shame for Brentford, but given what he was rumoured to want as a signing-on fee in addition to his wages, they were never going to have a chance of keeping him, once United were interested.
A short list of players spotted in training today Brandon Austin Bryan Gil Cristian Romero Davinson Sanchez Emerson Royal Eric Dier Fraser Forster Giovani Lo Celso Harry Winks Ivan Perisic Japhet Tanganga Lucas Moura Matt Doherty Oliver Skipp Pape Matar Sarr Rodrigo Bentancur Ryan Sessegnon Sergio Reguilon Tanguy Ndombele Troy Parrott Yves Bissouma
The fact the club haven't showed him doesn't bode well Also, I think I saw Eric Dier in one of the vids, but couldn't be sure
Thought that was him, but given he was doing situps he almost looked like Matt Doherty wearing the skin of Danny Murphy
Sess is tapping up Spence on Instagram, lol. Left a comment saying: “you know what to do now” Under Spence’s latest post.
Interesting that Lo Celso appears in some of the training vids the club's put out, but Ndombele is as easy to find as Mick Lynch in a TV studio in the past week
He does each player about 10 times each now. They're calling him a tap-in merchant and it's easy to see why.
Ryan Taylor’s linking us with Salzburg’s, Benjamin Sesko. They’re trying to dub him the new Haaland in Austria, though I assume that’ll be the case for any young, tall striker. Salzburg are one of the current best talent factory clubs at the moment though.
