£13m for Dan Burn is an absolute steal. He's the best of a dying breed of no-nonsense CBs and is a proper leader on the pitch. Shrewd signing by Newcastle and I think they'll probably avoid relegation with that.
With Kulusevski signing I'm not so sure we will be bringing in a creative mid. It seems Conte favours the 343 with 2 combative CM's ( Bentacur/ Skipp, PEH abs Winks) We still need 4 more players . As you say urgently needed is a top RWB, back up for Kane and Hugo (Johnstone) and a LCB.
Dunno. PL 3-4 is still a possibility for Spurs this season, Will they help get Spurs across the line, or are they for the future (whatever happens this season) ??
Serves me right for not looking at the stats Bit he’s quite a big lad and if he can bring his partner into the game then that’s also useful
The biggest issue for me is that we were reportedly negotiating for Kulusevski at the end of December Considering that at the end of December we were linked with a double deal for Kulusevski and Weston McKennie, and now we're getting Kulusevski and Bentacur does mean we're getting a someone more capable of the Kante/Brozovic role coming in, but there's no denying that there's no reason we couldn't have signed off on Kulu a couple of weeks ago and gone back in for Bentancur later
In other news, Romano claims that Lo Celso rejected Lyon because he'd rather go to Villarreal Commence speculation at making another run for Pau Torres...
From the little I've seen plus obligatory YouTube analysis, I think he'll be good in any of the supporting attacking roles, especially on the right and behind the striker(s). I like the skill and technique he has, and as I've already said, getting Chadli vibes and I was a big Chadli fan. Sounds a harder worker than Chadli too. Definitely the more interesting of the two Juve lads, just hope it works out for them here, we've had far, far too many flops in recent years.
Romano’s said Kulusevski’s deal has been signed. 18 month loan with buy option that could become mandatory.

Gil going to Valencia, cost was £25 million plus Lamela and we loan him out , that's very poor business, Royal not up to it , poor , and unfortunately a centre back who has spent more time flying to and from Argentina than on the pitch for us , this is going to be a big winow for Parrotici's reputation oh I forgot about the keeper , nuff said
There are certainly question marks and the fact that he seems to very quickly default to managers and players he has worked with before isn't necessarily a bad thing in the immediate future but will hold us back if it becomes a long term pattern. I hesitate to judge him on the summer window. Only joined mid July and para(tici)chuted into a circus of a manager hunt. Then we appointed the guy who was only his 4th choice and I personally don't think he or Levy ever intended to fully back Nuno, no disrespect meant. January windows are notoriously difficult and as I said last week, Liverpool are the only top club who have enjoyed consistent success in the window in recent years. There are certainly flags though and a close eye will be needed come summer.
I was so excited when we signed N'Dombele such a phenomenal talent and thought we had signed a world beater but his attitude and application is just diabolical. The Gil loan is a strange one as mentioned on here, Valencia are a very good club but surely a move to a premier league club would have been more beneficial to his ability to adapt to the pace and rigours of English football. He needs to bulk up and if he does I think he could be a top top player for us. So that's 2 out and 2 in so far. Were trying our best to move Lo Celso and Dele on and maybe Doherty and Rodon will go too Hopefully allowing us to bring in a RWB tomorrow (although nothing in the pipeline at the moment) Hopefully Bergwijn stays and I think we have enough options upfront until the end of the season. In the summer a Striker, LCB, Pape Sarr and back up keeper and I think we will have a well rounded squad.
Yeah Paratici’s been poor so far. None of his signings have impressed yet and his haphazard approach makes for a chaotic window every time it seems.
I hope that Harry is getting a good rest over these 2 weeks as it looks very unlikely that we will be getting any cover in now. I like the look of the 2 players in today as they appear to offer options that the manager was demanding. Hopefully we may see Lo Celso and Dele head out before the window closes tomorrow and that maybe open the way for a RWB, but I have no idea who we might be targeting in that role.
