    I can't even say I haven't done that <laugh>

Early days Twitter before it started moderating stuff was like Prem board and GC board combined, the stuff that got said back in the day was pure filth.

Romano says talks now advanced for Kulusevski. Loan with buy option which will become mandatory based on objectives being met, qualifying for the CL likely being one of them along with a set amount of games.

He also said Gil's very close to joining Valencia on loan.

Di Marzio also says both Kulusevski and Bentancur are close to signing.

Lyon also apparently in talks to re-sign Ndombele on loan according to Julian Maynard.

Apparently we are negotiating with Lyon to see if the 'faulty product' returns policy for Ndombele extends to 31 months.

This club man, I swear. Forget Amazon, we should have a regular slot on Dave.

Well provided he is paying full tax (yes i know italys tax rate is probs different and im not looking it up). If its like england, cut his earning in half so thats 17.5m hes earnt.

Still an incredible amount and more than enough to live on.

Maybe he wants to make sure his mum and dad never have to work again. His wife might want the same. His house will probably cost a couple of million (not in london, probs more in london if he wants a big place) and he doesnt fancy living in rcls 500k terraced 3 bedroom house where spurlocks bredren are dealing weed a few doors down (i jest).

Then he will want to make sure his kids are set for life and he wants to essentially go travelling around staying at 5* hotels. Imagine a holiday like that for the fam is going to cost 10k plus for the week? (I dunno i made it up). Hes retired now so go on 10 of those a year as he literally is doing **** all else and thats 100k a year theres a 2 million gone over 20.

I imagine living the rich lifestyle he is now used to is going to cost a pretty penny.

Im a modest guy though i would take the paycut to play some real footie but maybe he just cant be arsed anymore as he has worked 15 years of his life (probs more i dunno how regimented kids training is) and after some horrific injuries cba. See bale and golfing and not taking a paycut

Sometimes taking a paycut can involve looking at the job you are going to and employees already there like "you telling me i'm not worth as much as him? "
It's not all about taking the drop, sometimes about perceived worth compared to others.

Romano’s given as close to a “here we go” as possible on Kulusevski (As has Gianluigi Longari).

Claims we’ve agreed deal with Juve and the player has agreed terms. He’s due to fly over within the next few hours. Will sign a five year deal if the mandatory buy option is activated.

Also the deal offered so far for Bentancur is €19m plus €6m in add ons. Talks to continue tomorrow.

    Kulusevski seems done.

    Bentancur apparently close.

We've also apparently launched moves for Ousmane Dembele, Douglas Luiz and are keeping close tabs on Yves Bissouma and Djed Spence.

Meanwhile Dele, Lo Celso and Ndombele could all go out on loan, Rodon could move to Brighton, Gil is heading to Valencia and Ajax are still interested in Bergwijn.

    And breathe.

That noise you just heard was Levy's '2 days to go' alarm, which is his cue to snort a kilo of cocaine, down a 6 pack of red bull, put on german techno and go absolutely facking mental.

My problem with these signings is where was the interest in them a few days ago? These names only cropped up when the Diaz deal went up **** creek

feels to me like Parrotici got on the blower to some of his old mates in Turin and asked them to sort him out with a few duds coz things are getting desperate down at the Lane

    great strategy

Quite a few saying the Kulusevski buy option is only triggered if a set number of appearances are met and that there is also a clause that we achieve CL qualification.

I hope the latter is true. The last few years have shown us the consequences of being lumbered with expensive flops without CL money to cushion the blow.

Think it’s an either/or for the buy clause. Sounds like Bentacur on the way too.

To be fair with regards to Kulusevski we’ve been linked him with since the start of the window and even prior to that IIRC. It just seemingly went quiet for a week or so (maybe because of Diaz?).

Bentancur’s definitely a fresher link though.

On paper at least, two decent signings.

Bentancur looks like a shrewd buy if we can pull it off

The fee for Bentancur sounds quite modest too, less than £25m if stuff is to be believed, “only” (as if it’s pennies to us folk, lol) €19m up front. For a guy that’s been in the Juve squad that’s won a few Serie A’s and is still only 24, it’s pretty decent. Obviously need him to be good for us but it’s a damn better punt than what we spent on Dumb and Dumber back in 2019.

Yeah especially if it is for the rumoured fee I said to Hudd.

According to Ali Gold this is a typical Parrotici transfer window, he opens negotiations with a number of targets and then works his way through them to find the most suitable, sounds like the basis of a massive clusterfuck to me but what do I know

Looks like he's played more 1st team games for Juventus than Ndombele, GLC and Dele have for us over the last few yrs so this must be a plus
