Conte's assessed the squad and met with Levy and Paratici to indicate who he wants to keep, who can go and in his daily meetings with Paratici, who should be coming in.His comments in the press conference suggested that he's getting concerned about whether he's being listened to and his requests are being acted on.

That's not great, at all...but is it a surprise? As a club, probably more than any other, we tend to do a significant amount of business late in all TW's. Summer signings regularly come in after the season has started and January signings, like Lucas and Bergwijn, were also in the final days in January. Leaving it very/too late is what we have done under ENIC.

There's been no news of additional investment, so the club's trying to operate Daniel's beloved, 1 out/1 in policy and loans with obligations, which definitely makes things even more problematic. Conte's not going to wear that and "We tried...but it was too difficult", nor is he going to put up with Gedson Fernandes, or Joe Rodon. Nor are the fans.

Over to you, Daniel...DO NOT **** THIS UP!

Ekrem Konur claims we're planning a summer move for Charles de Ketelaeere

Anyone credible want to link us?

    **** Off Ndombele Watch

Translation: No progress for Tanguy Ndombele. Everything depends on a departure in the workforce of PSG whether it is a sale or a loan. The idea of a player swap has been mooted with Tottenham, but there is no viable option, with only Leandro Paredes of interest to Spurs.

Dele needs a move for his own good, he had all his confidence, desire and form drained out of him by Mourinho, and has struggled to get it back. I hope he goes on loan and rediscovers the form we know he is capable of. I would still prefer a fired up and on form Dele to some of the dross in our squad.

I wouldn't place the blame solely on Maureen. Dele was stagnating long before his arrival, out of the side for chunks of the 2018/19 season with very few memorable performances save the Ajax game that year.

No idea what's really going on but part of me suspects he is a classic 'system' player with a very specific skill set that isn't especially adaptable and needs the perfect set up around him to flourish. He hasn't had that for years and our most recent 3 managers have all preferred systems that simply don't need a player like him. Passing and pace not good enough to play in a counter attacking style and not strong enough on the ball to play in the midfield melees Conte's system regularly demands.

He should have moved on years ago and has likely wasted two of his prime years making regular instagram apologies about his and the team's performance. He also seems to have grown distant from players he used to be close to. I don't think his relationship with Dier has been the same since their altercation after the Wolves defeat as shown on Amazon.

The boyish, jovial Dele who played with a carefree grin has been replaced by a sulky, forlorn figure who just seems to have fallen out of love with the game. I'm not sure a relegation scrap will reignite the spark but Eddie Howe strikes me as the arm-round-the-shoulder type who might just be able to help.

A non-specific Bundesliga move was being suggested a few weeks ago, and unless it's a basket case like Greuther Furth that would stand a decent chance of lighting a fire under him compared to mooted moves to Newcastle or Everton

Exactly, it’s always the same with Spurs.

Why baffles me is that a large section of our fans seem to forget this and go into transfer windows with optimism or seem to be in denial and then say it’s not the clubs fault for failing to sign the targets etc.

Luckily more and more fans are seeing through the lies from Levy and he’s in real trouble if Conte walks

As would James Ward-Prowse; our set-pieces are embarrassing. Get rid of Gio-Lo and get JWP in.

Since Newcastle are being linked with James Tarkowski, as they seem to think that signing all of Burnley's squad is how they're going to stay up, wouldn't it make sense to send Rodon to Burnley on loan for the rest of the season?

In other news, now Valencia are looking at taking Bryan on loan

Ally Gold - via David Ornstein - claim Dele isn’t in the squad today as there’s a belief something will happen for him between now and the end of the window.

Calciomercato claim that Milan will be meeting us tomorrow to discuss the terms of Tanganga's loan

I'm sure their fans are up in arms about how they didn't meet with us a few days ago when their interest was first known...

He was finished a fair bit before Jose. Jose even reignited him for a month or two but then he went back to ****. I think as CK/ RCL have covered, he’s both seemingly lost that urge and fight to truly play and he’s also a systems player and we no longer play the system he liked. He also relied heavily on the brilliance of Dembele and Eriksen, when those two declined/ left it was game over for Dele really. The sad reality too is that he is actually one of the poorest bits of dross we now have, I think if many ranked our squad from top to bottom, he wouldn’t be far off the bottom. A shame to see what was once a top prospect fall to **** but he should’ve been sold years back. It’s telling that Newcastle seem the most interested club, they may have money now but they’re absolute dogshit at the moment.

After Wednesday, he's probably 1 off the bottom, which has to be Ndombele. Coming in below Doherty should be impossible, but currently, he's managing it. He needs to go...for his own good, as well as ours.

Couple of random bits from lower league:

We supposedly made a bid for Ollie Tanner over the weekend. Young lad that plays for Lewes, few Prem clubs have been watching him apparently. Has 12 goals this season in the Isthmian Prem from LW I believe and according to his manager he’s the “best prospect he’s ever worked with”. Came through Arsenal and Charlton’s academies.

We’ve also supposedly looked at Accrington’s young keeper, Toby Savin as a potential future number one.

There’s also been talk of doing a Dele-esque deal for Keane Lewis-Potter of Hull. Plays across the front three but primarily on the left. Has 23 goals and 12 assists in a 103 games for them in all comps since breaking through, only 20 years old. I think this may have stemmed from ITK talk though so pinch of salt on that one.

The Daily Wail say that, after Leandro Paredes turned down being a makeweight, PSG are offering Georginio Wijnaldum as part of a deal to get Ndombele off our hands

Bit more on Tanner, Andy Naylor of the Athletic says Tanner’s been training at Hotspur Way recently and Chris Powell was in attendance to watch him for Lewes the other day for the second successive match. Their manager’s also confirmed they’ve received an offer from a Prem club.

One thing that’s been spotted by Spurs fans though is that in the past, Tanner has done some Harvey Elliot-esque tweets about Kane’s speech. I think they may have been deleted now but there’s screenshots of his tweets mocking Harry.

Rudy Galetti is saying we’ve agreed a fee with Milan for Kessie but his agent is hoping to wait til the summer for a bigger agent fee in a battle for Kessie’s signature.

Reports claiming that we are looking to sell Lo Celso as well as the others that were omitted today.

If we hadn't already agreed with Kessie that he'd forego the ENORMOUS signing on fee that he'll get come the summer for signing with a club that does such things, then this is the dictionary definition of wasting precious time.
