Our complete reluctance to give him league games in case we trigger the option to make his loan permanent answers that question...
I have seen nothing from Ndombele in over 2.5 years to suggest he has the fortitude to hack the PL, irrespective of the system. You could plonk him in City's team next to Rodri and De Bruyne and he'd still struggle. He isn't the first and certainly won't be the last player to move from an inferior league and simply get overwhelmed by the occasion. Plus he also seems to really hate playing football. Bit like BAE but far more expensive and far less likeable.
Why would give him league games when Hugo has been in such good form this year? He's had chances in the cup and tbh seems an upgrade on Hart and about on par with Gazza.
There's been one or two games, including last night, where it looked like Gollini might have to deputise a few games because opposition players blatantly took out Hugo
Class news, man. The form he’s been in over the last two years has been almost as good as the period from around late 2012-2018. Had about an 18 month spell after that where he was poor and question marks over whether we’d seen his best but then came back with a bang.
Lilywhite Rose reckon Lavinier’s gonna join Charlton on loan tomorrow and play in a RWB role for them in a 352.
I loved BAE...still wear my "dontcha wish your left back was BAE?" T shirt to bed like the sexy mo fo I am
Benny was such a baller. Most complete LB I’ve seen at the club. Man was so cool too, I bet he shat ice cubes.
I know nothing about this guy apart from a quick glance at Google , defensive midfielder, a croissant would be an upgrade on Ndombele at the moment but is he what Conte wants
