I mean it would help me get through another day of pathetic mewling about not signing players, as if Premier League teams are signing players left and right...
Nobody forcing you to read every post. Also you moan like **** about Twitter, Reddit and all the other gossip sites about Spurs yet you seem to be on them 24/7
And yet I somehow seem to remain grounded in reality when I do so Unlike the people moaning on Twitter or Reddit, who whine about golf courses and property developments and Joe Lewis' yacht, all arguments that can be defeated with one very simple answer: "...and?"
Martial always felt like the signing Poch was trying to make even when we missed out on him, and instead brought in N'Jie and Nkoudou to compensate In retrospect, we should've taken a look at this kid in the Monaco youth team named Mbappe instead, probably would've worked out a little better than the alternatives we wound up signing...

So they’re not allowed to wonder why the club have money for property developments and yachts but when it comes to the football club (cash cow) the owners suddenly plead poverty and every penny spent has to be accounted for.
Nkoudou replacing N'Jie would be comical if not annoyingly stupid. Signed a player, barely played him, then signed a player to replace that player we barely played and didn't play him either.
Well for one thing, Lewis didn't buy his yacht or anything else SpursWeb was kvetching about at the weekend with the club's money, so them bringing it up is akin to a teenager slamming their bedroom door because they don't want to do their chores or, you know, because so few people turned up to the protest SpursWeb organised last year that the club didn't even realise there was a protest happening outside Meanwhile the golf course we heard so much about during the summer turns out to be costing us £100k a year, or to put it another way there's genuinely players in our academy costing us more in a week than this thing that's apparently breaking the club's finances - which is why you don't hear so much about that, because once the figures were out there the months of howling stopped as it was unsustainable And this is a real issue with our fanbase, they're so desperate to find something to be pissed off about that they keep latching onto things that bear no relation to what they're seething about, but they inflate the non-issue every single time and it's become parody at this point
On the plus side, at least we were able to move on N'Jie within a year - while Nkoudou was a perpetual drain not just on resources but also Non HG places in our squad that, frankly, begged the question why we didn;t just think N'Jie was a bust so give one of Edwards, Madueke or even Georgiou a run in the side because, worst case scenario, at least that would've increased their value
Traore Watch Sport (the Spanish one, etc etc) claim that he doesn't want to move in January and instead is planning on waiting until the summer, which I'm sure is not in any way related to Sport (again, the Spanish one) reporting the other day that Barca were looking at making him a big part of next season's calamitous implosion of fail Don't suppose there's any nippy Ligue 1 wingers of West African extraction we can turn into a borderline meme for a season or two?
Kion Etete has joined League One Cheltenham Town on loan for the rest of the season: https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/2022/january/cheltenham-loan-for-etete/
We have not bought a yacht. Property developments can be funded by long term secured borrowing at low interest rates. Buying and paying players can't be. So you don't need to wonder about it any more.
There's a couple of obvious questions that needs answering at some point between today and the summer: when are we taking up the option to make Romero's loan permanent and, when we did, what is the first installment of the £50m fee going to be? The second part of the question could certainly go a fair amount of the way to explaining why we appear to be in the middle of one of those transfer chains involving Wolves, Ajax and ourselves and the respective players who'll be moving in and out as a result
