Ahh let’s just help cool matters down, we’ll send Lo Celso back to Betis, get our money back and any issues of a sell on clause to PSG can then be put to bed.

No offence to anyone, but I'm not sure where the confusion about where Bale would play is coming from.
Wouldn't he just replace Moura in the system we used against Everton and Vitesse?

I doubt there's much to this rumour, to be honest, but I thought that last time, too.

Not the best solution, as Ndombele is going to be dead by Christmas

I mean… it still sounds a perfect solution to me even if that were to happen.

Doesn't affect us. It's a cut of what we paid to Betis. They'd have to pay more, if they lose the case.

If I was them, I wouldn't have agreed to structure the deal in that way without an agrred indemnity against the loan being ruled to be a sham agreement. That's a major sum of money for Betis to have to find. Them taking all the risk would be surprising but who knows?

Do you know if it's been an issue since the transfer was announced?

Yeah, the player plays like he’s missing €16m of value.

There was talk at the time about PSG being pissed, but I thought it had gone away.
The last time I heard of a case like this it involved multiple players and dishonest valuations.
I think that might have been Betis, too.

The whole thing would only cost about £3m, anyway.
It's a 20% sell-on clause on any profit and they paid PSG £20m-odd for him.

I had it in my head that it was double that.

    Ageing is no fun!

PSG are claiming €6m, apparently. They say that the loan fee is included.
Their position is rather undermined by the fact that they loaned him to Betis first and charged a fee.

    Harry Kane says...

“There was a lot of talk and speculation over the summer. The first real time that’s happened to me in my career. But that’s part and parcel of being a big player, having to deal with those situations, and I think I dealt with it well."

It's so unnecessary for Kane to answer like that. Just say "I prefer to look forward and I'm really looking forward to working with Antonio Conte." Job done.

    Stupid ****.

    I liked the:

"there was a lot of talk and speculation over the summer..."

    Yeah...there was...from you ffs

    But the delusional bit of:

    "But I handled it well..."

    is jaw droppingly moronic <laugh>

Currently he's that level of disappointment where you grab a sandwich in a rush to catch a train then get on the train to see that there are no seats and you've missed the announcement that it is terminating 2 towns before the one you need, then you open the sandwich and they've forgotten to put the filling in so you're left standing with four triangles of soggy bread on your way to Leighton Buzzard.

The Sheikh Mansour Team say that Raheem Sterling can leave for £45m

Obviously this means we should offer £20m + £10m in add-ons, with Conte regularly bleating about why it's not fair they won't accept our offer...
