Our ever-reliable friends in the Turkish press say that Ryan Sessegnon is headed to Fenerbahce on loan ...actually, they didn't, what they actually said was we have loaned him from Fenerbahce, because Google Translate is as reliable as the Turkish press
Me too, plus I feel like he needs to make his mark in the senior squad sooner rather than later. There’s a gem in there somewhere, he just needs one moment to spark into life
I thought he looked encouraging against Pacos in the home game. Combined well with Gil and Davies on the left, though it was clear he wasn't 100%. Gave them a lot to think about, as all three of them were happy to go wide or come inside. Resulted in a lot of space for the Spanish youngster, which he exploited well.

Emerson Royal in training at Hotspur Way: Can't afford trainers, apparently. Poor bloke. Must be quite tricky for Espirito Santo, given the pretty small number of players available. Probably good for a number of the kids, though.
Thorstvedt Watch Reports in Norway say that the agent of Kristian Thorstvedt has offered his services to us, and he is reportedly keen to join us if an opportunity arose due to being a fan of us, no doubt because he was a babe in arms when his father was raising the FA Cup with us Given he plays for Genk any fee would be more than reasonable even if he does have two years left on his contract, and he'd be a useful player to have in midfield as he can pass it around neatly but also make late breaks into the area to score, picking up 9 goals and 3 assists in 34 games last season - and given we have a couple of free spots in our Non HG quota (in the Premier League, anyway...) there's no need to shuffle players around to accommodate him...instead we shuffle them around because they need to take the hint and bugger off so we can sign a couple more players with the fee and reclaimed wages Of coruse, that is the only reason I am suggesting he would be a smart signing, not other reason whatsoever... please log in to view this image
Tottenham are willing to selling England midfielder Harry Winks this summer but only if clubs paid £40m for the 25-year-old. (Times) if that’s what Levy thinks £40 mill should buy you then no wonder he cant get in the talent we need
Winks needs to leave for the good of himself and Spurs, by all accounts he had opportunity to leave in the summer but turned it down and wanted to stay to fight for his place. He then goes on to put in a shocking performance against Palace, I had given him the benefit of doubt up until now and thought he was a handy squad player, but in that Palace game there was a moment when Winks had the ball in central midfield and Emerson was in acres of space down the right, Winks looked but decided to play a simple pass 5 yards sideways instead, when the more difficult pass to Emerson would have seen us open Palace up. This lack of bravery or idea is no good, there is no wonder we were dominated so badly.
I wanted Sissoko and Aurier to leave more than I’ve ever wanted any other Spurs player gone. Now they’ve gone, the next batch of not good enough players have to go and that includes the likes of Winks and Ben Davies. Hopefully in January if not the summer.
