Oh, but you don't understand at all. Man City boss Pep Guardiola proved right with Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane transfer calls https://www.express.co.uk/sport/foo...ola-Harry-Kane-Cristiano-Ronaldo-Transfer-SNT It's obvious Pep was smart not to get a top striker. It's clear because Chelsea did do that, yet Man City are ahead of them...or does being the front man for a big sportswashing effort buy you articles saying up is down and black is white if that's what it takes to make you look good?
According to Tom Kershaw (yeah, I've never heard of him either but he works for the independent), Don Fabio is in Barcelona trying to secure the deal for Moriba and trying to negotiate for Emerson.
Daniele Longo now saying the Moriba deal should be done this evening whilst we’ve offered €20m for Emerson, Barca want €25m.
Mundo Deportivo jumping on the story with similar news. To sum all the journos/ outlets up on this one: Spurs want Moriba. Moriba wants Spurs. Barca wants to sell to Spurs as we’re offering more dough than Leipzig. Agent(s) is being a greedy **** and supposedly wanting ridiculous fees which we’re not prepared to meet so far. Spurs want Emerson. Then either: Barca don’t want to sell/ Barca want €25m/ Barca have rejected a swap deal with Aurier. This one sounds more doubtful than Moriba but seems like Don Fabio is trying his best out there.
According to Spanish radio station, Cadena Ser, Jorge Mendes has obtained a mandate signed by Adama Traoré to negotiate his transfer to Spurs for €40M… Ahhhhh for god sake save that money on something we actually need!
Time to start poring over who Moriba is following on Instagram... please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
He was also in goal for THAT game at the Goons in 10/11. For that participation as alone he is a legend in my eyes! (Pulled off a couple of important saves late on that day as well as I recall, although my memory of the last half of that game is somewhat alcohol-confused.....
I think Davies is still very useful if we want to play a back 3 with WBs - a system I think could suit us nicely in games we expect to be more on the front foot. He's pretty much the only player in the squad who can play as a left sided CB comfortably, so is well down the for sale list imo.
Second best thing about that game after the result was Gallas thumping Nasri in the face. Never imagined warming to Gallas so quickly as I did but what a bloke
Yeah, I don’t think they’ll actively look to sell him yet but if an offer came in, then I would expect they’d accept it. Davies is a great professional but another one who is a bit limited with ability.
Rodon can certainly do so as well, although given he was injured for the entirety of preseason he's starting off on the back foot
This 100% Ben Davies is a really versatile player in that regard. A big squad needs that resource and I'm surprised so many have him high on the list of 'want-outs'.
He was a ****ing hero that day. And the whole team knew it at the end. Finished the match on one leg.
Hope he gets fit and stays. There's a player in there and he has formed a good partnership with Davies at international level.
