Wouldn't be at all surprised if City buy a striker with one week left to deadline day for £120m and said "sorry Harry but Levy is just not in the real world"
Yep, they would get the striker they need and Kane would be sorely pissed off that his one chance of the big time has gone. Win win for most
Apparently this journo is reliable for Brazil-related stuff. Just wiki’d the player, at 5’5 I’m stereotypically guessing he must be rapid, somewhat Lamptey-esque. Shakhtar have had an eye for Brazilian talent over the years too.
Not really mate, really good team and squad. Still, it's up to the rest of us to put 11 players on the field to beat em regardless of player cost. I have said on a couple of threads that the two biggest moaners about City/Chelsea spending are you lot and the Scousers yet when asked to name a starting 11 from City's team and your two (in fairness not with you since 2018i when you had "the best in his position" all over the field) then City would have very few in the first team regardless of cost (or what they win ).
What are you on about? City have better players than virtually everybody in pretty much every position. Then they've got backup that's nearly as good in every spot. Their depth is ridiculous.
Not in the real world for not wanting to sell his most prized asset cheap? Lukaku £97.5 million and Grealish £100million. Kane is better than both by quite some distance so you tell me how he’s only going to cost the same?
Replacing Kane's goals and assists look to be impossible. But I'd rather Spurs sell Kane anyway. At 28, he's very probably too old to be part of the next Spurs team which could compete for big trophies. The two seasons Nuno spends with Spurs may well be the Summer and Fall. But I'm curious to see what he can do anyway, and saddling him with a (edit--of course Lloris is captain) star who wants to be elsewhere takes a lot of the fun out of it for me. It's time, I think, to turn the page. The last rebuild Spurs tried fell short of winning anything, it's true. But it did get them to the CL final. I'm eager to see what this rebuild can accomplish in a few years. This year, Spurs are going to finish in the 6th to 8th range with or without Kane, IMO (to paraphrase the words "We can finish last without you."). So sell him, move on, and hope for the best.
I know that You telling me that you never seen the posts on here where posters were proclaiming all your players as "the best in his position"? You really think the Scousers would take City players before VvD, Alisson, TTA, Robertson, Mane, Salah, Firminho, Fabinho, Thiago? just ask them which they would swap
Number of journos are saying we’ve made/ will make a new bid for Vlahovic worth €60m plus add-ons. Sounds like a possible bidding war with Atleti, something we don’t often get involved in.
£100m cheap A player is only worth what he wil/can bring to a team, Pep obviously thinks Grealish will add more in to the team than a few goals by a player that needs the team to be set up for him to succeed. Grealish is a bit **** in my opinion too but i ain't a top manager and have no idea how to use him
"That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence." - The wrong dead brother.
He's on about anything that ensures a rival cannot stop Man Utd continually finishing 2-4 in the PL, is ok by him.
