There's a report today saying that they're going to. Can't remember if it was anyone reliable though, I'm afraid. Probably not.
Dodgy rumours (Daily Mail and/or Sky Germany from what I’ve seen) flying around that Chelsea are trying to get Lewandowski out on Bayern. He’s got 2 years left on his deal. I think it’s very unlikely this is true, or even if it was, that it would happen, BUT if it did it would have a lot of interesting ramifications for Kane. You’d imagine Bayern would go straight to Dortmund with a bag of cash for Haaland, leaving City focused on Kane.
There were rumours Lewandowski may be looking for a new challenge but not sure how much substance they had. 32, soon to be 33, so it's probably now or never if he's to leave Bayern and join another top European side. I think City will more or less be all in for Kane anyway though. I know from a neutral perspective Haaland makes more sense for most teams due to his age but I think City know the amount of attention (and money) they can generate with Kane's addition. England captain, best English player in the league, joining the English champions... it's a media ****fest.
