    I’m at the point now where I think I’d rather shift Davies to CB and have him play alongside Tanganga. Can’t be any worse than what Dier/ Toby/ Sanchez have been of late.

    Could be Jack Tucker at Gillingham, - only 20 apparently was being watched by scouts for about dozen premier league sides last season and is as good a centre back for his age as I have seen at that level, obviously its a huge step up but he is a tall elegant CB, strong in the air and seems quite quick across the ground and has that ability to 'smell danger' would be one for the future.

    I am curious how he is viewed in the squad. When he spoke out about signings etc he was widely supported and in the documentary he seems popular. For me he's gone too far, but my opinion is irrelevant.

    He wanted names that he didn’t have to Google...I guess that was his way of saying that the club needs to be ambitious. I agreed with him at the time...I had no problem with him planting that seed in peoples minds. What I didn’t like about him was the way he was behaving when he was in Jose’s office...had a whif of disrespect about him...so regardless of what the squad might think, I would get rid. Recently we have lost iconic players like Vertoghnen but we are fine...doubt anyone will miss Rose.
