Ryben is short for Ryan Bennett who indeed is playing for Swansea now while Canos plays for Brentford.
Looks like there may be a possibility for Sebastian Soto to return to City in the new year after his USA call-up: "That boosted City’s attempts to earn a work permit under the new post-Brexit rules on player movement. Soto could return to his parent club early in the new year, ahead of a potential fresh loan move, should Norwich successfully cut through the red tape. Farke has kept a close watch on the Californian, but cautions he has to prove himself at a higher level." https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwich-city/canaries-daniel-farke-praise-sebastian-soto-6862134
So if he can potentially get a work permit, loaned to another Championship/League One club in January? Can't see there being any point having him around the first team just yet, with Idah, Pukki and Hugill all fit (hopefully!) by then.
Possibly, but the other alternative would be to play with the U23s and train with the first team to integrate him with the squad.
I'd like to add my own advice to any recruitment agents thinking of taking these NCFC players to your club this season: Cantwell: Currently transitioning. The hormones are playing havoc. Avoid. Buendia: Hot-headed Latin with silky skills. But I really think it's great that you trust your wife. Aarons: You can't win anything with kids.
Depends who comes calling. If it is a big Club looking to strengthen - Arsenal, Everton, Leicester - they will go. No brainer. A small struggling Club - Brighton. Fulham, West Brom - they might as well stay. Clubs in between - Newcastle, Wolves - they have a decision to make.
More detail on Soto from the Pinkun: "Soto is expected to be recalled in January, with the City boss yet to see him play in the flesh. The 20-year-old may even play for the Canaries in their FA Cup third-round fixture against Coventry City, then a decision will be taken as to whether he stays at Carrow Road or joins an English club on loan for the rest of the season."
Yes, I read that, but tend to discount any rumours couched in the term 'considering'. Too often it covers up lazy journalism. If it doesn't happen, the implication is that the interest never got beyond the 'considering' stage. We'll see.
We are DEMANDING £15m? If we had put a figure out for consideration, and can you imagine SW doing that?, it would be in excess of double that. Ludicrous and lazy sensationalist scribbling.
If it did happen, knock it back and press on. We could swap places next season, lol. Meanwhile there are also rumours of our possible interest in Duncan What more: https://norwich.vitalfootball.co.uk...rnock-with-regard-to-boro-winger-speculation/
Fits the NCFC recruitment model, I can see why we'd be linked. 26 years old, previously looked at home in the Prem, and available for next to nothing. History of injuries is also very NCFC. There's truth in Warnock's comments though, he needs to be playing to prove he can stay fit, and that's probably more important right now than the level of club he's at. Come to Norwich and he could easily be another Ben Marshall.
That experience is exactly why we need to keep hold of Emi, Max and Todd if we're serious about promotion. Surely the £40m+ we got for Lewis and Godfrey and the parachute payments are enough to keep the club progressing. We can't afford to sell our best players and start again in the PL.
