If Buendia went to Arsenal he could be playing Championship football next season. Tounge in cheek, maybe, but they're an absolute shower of s**t this season. Awful to watch and going nowhere.
If we are looking for a left back do we assume that both Byram and Quintilla are out for a longer term than first suggested?
I am fairly certain that he is a right back that filled in when Lewis was injured. What am I saying, I know he is a RB.
So if we got Bjorkan we would have 2 LB's (Bjorkan & Quintilla) plus Byram & Sorensen who could cover. At right back we would have Aarons, Byram & Mumba. Bjorkan certainly seems to be the type of player we would be interested in. Assuming Byram is close to a return and Mumba is seen as adequate cover, Could our interest in Bjorkan be a prelude to Aarons moving on.
Thinking of players sold in last, say 5/6 years: Godfrey, Lewis, Maddison, Josh Murphy, Jacob Murphy, Johnson, Howson, Brady, Snodgrass, Olsson. This is some of them there are probably more

I’m struggling to understand why we are looking for another left back. As you have said we have Quintilla (on loan) but probably first choice, Sam Byram is very able competition able to play both LB and RB and Sam McCallum who is out on loan. Why don’t we just terminate his loan in January?
That makes complete sense, although at the same time we've played 65% of the season so far with a hastily converted DM at LB, so I can see why the club might want another LB. Why not McCallum? I guess if the loan is working for his development, and the club see an opportunity to sign another young talent at a sensible price, I can see why they might choose to leave McCallum where he is, and bring in a new player. Even if Bjorkan only ends up spending six months as understudy to Quintilla, then heading out on loan. Quintilla's future beyond the end of the season is heavily linked to promotion, and I'm not sure it's fully settled that he joins even if we are promoted. So signing Bjorkan now could be preparation for the eventuality that Quintilla doesn't stay. And realistically, competent as Byram is, it doesn't feel like we're ever going to be able to trust that we'll get 30+ games out of him in a season.
If our scouts believe Blorkan is a star in the making I can see every reason to make an effort to sign him. It is all very well to list the FBs we have, but we should always be looking to improve, as in all positions on the pitch.
