I like the idea of keeping this list going SB, you're right I think we'll get some laughs out of this come the end of the summer!

But yes, I still think people will post their own threads regard player rumours, perhaps not so much to get their names up in lights, but just to avoid confusion when discussing players' pros and cons... imagine trying to discuss three different players in one thread, would become pretty confusing pretty quickly I imagine!
 
Reckon you are right Liverpool, I'll keep building the list for as long as I can be bothered. Might throw in a couple of rogue names to see if anyone is watching.the threads that really piss me off are the 'what about xxx' ones which don't even relate to a piece of crap journalism.
 
I often thought the same thing SB but didnt think it wouldn't work for the reasons that Liverpool stated. Good idea though. Is there an alternative? Maybe if when one player is mentioned, everything else pertaining to him goes on that single thread.
 
Hope you have a lot of time SB. Last year's list got to over a hundred names quite quickly.

Yeah, the phrase 'rod for my own back' springs to mind. There will be some times when I'm away that it won't happen, but I'll try and keep the OP as up to date as possible. Any particularly stupid ones, without even flimsy journo back up, I will include the posters' name, so we can mock them roundly come judgement day. But can't be arsed to do this retrospectively.
 
This thread probably needs to be stickied for it to have a decent chance of fulfilling it's destiny, otherwise it may fulfil a different destiny. I don't have any names to add to the list at this point.

Cerny took and absorbed a lot of everybody's heat yet I believe it was generated by a lot of people on here and now the subject of ITK is flat. Anyone can read copy and paste the rubbish is out there. I will go record that from now on I will only discuss players that have signed for us .. after all what is the point? Too many people can play the game on paper ... so bring it on SB73 and lets find ...

I can just about see the point DT, keeps people occupied. Otherwise they might be out rioting or something. More worried about myself, reckon this is late onset Aspergers or something. Ok from now on each name accompanied by poster.
And if it's not near the top I'll bump it Grinners, so everyone can see how hard I'm working. I like the way Brix and Goldie spurn stickies, some boards they take up most of the first page.
 
Already got more than a squad fulll of rumors, bad journalism and frantic poster wishes. Lots of goalies, midfielders and attackers, no defenders at all! Except Bosingwa.

Why not have a list and who-ever names a player and gets it right, gets a point? A league table type thing

We can all only name 11 players between now and Seasons start.
No naming after the event has happened.

You've got plenty of spare time in airports haven't you?

**** that for a game of soldiers, but be my guest if you are keen.....actually, nearer the end of the window we should have a comp around the final 25.
At the moment I'm just worried that my Aspergers is turning into full blown autism, and not the kind that gives me special Maths powers.
 
Formally on 1 July, ends 31 August. But in England negotiations can take place and transfers agreed any time after the end of the season, just not formalized until 1 July.
Don't expect to see any announcements, especially of transfers from Europe or South America (if only) before then.
 
Another bunch of unwanted or unachievable names added to the list today. Over 30 after two days......
