I honestly think that our team, under Warburton's tactics, was really inhospitable for strikers. Our strikers were essentially left for dead up front whilst we farted about with the ball around the outside of oppositions' boxes. Or indeed along our own back line. Our strikers had to live on absolute scraps.

Cos it's mildly amusing some people actually think we are in for such players ! I don't think we've got anyone on over 10k a week, but it doesn't stop some thinking Mata, Odoi or whoever would take a 150k a week drop in wages and a drop in division to come here. It boggles the mind

Yeah, quite true, particularly in the 2nd half of the season after Gray joined us. He did score one or two scorching goals.

Let’s hope our attacking coach, midfield coach, defensive coach and goalkeeping coach gel quickly. As we know this ‘gelling’ thing is critical to our success. :emoticon-0100-smile
