Talking of Barbet, he's been relegated before a ball has been kicked...

Good grief. If our FA could only grow a pair just think of the delight we could have as Citeh and Chelsea were relegated to League 2. Somehow me thinks the worst any of our galacticos would get would be a five figure fine. Points deduction? Meh. Not for them.

Coventry fans getting all salty about us on Twitter.

It's odd given our ludicrous spending days are near enough a decade past now that so many fans of other clubs think we still chuck the cash around willy nilly.

There's an awful lot that's been written about Dom Ball - most of it far too flattering. He was ok. Good on his day and committed . But that' s about it. He is not and never was the future - a decent enough back up and squad player but let's be honest. Assuming the squad was all fit would he really have ever been an automatic first choice to start in the line up? Isn't the priority in any transfer window to bring in the players you want first and then the players who you feel you need to give you back up options? The ubiquitous squad man who can play anywhere, across the back 4 on either wing or in the middle or as a back up striker/full back/centre half/winger/DCM/midfield dynamo and (when both goalies are crocked) between the sticks.
