The usual spiel spouted by players when signing for a new club. Said it earlier, we've 4 strikers so if anyones coming in we have to have 1 going out.

That's what platitudes are.

Having McGeady & Grigg on the books is clearly a stumbling block, but it hasn't stopped us getting fresh blood in so far or making inroads/bids for others.

Boyce scored a late winner for Hearts to day giving Lendel his first win in seven games, scrappy game second half Defoe mainly anonymous for Rangers. Mind I only saw the second half. Boyce looked useful, making good runs and grafts his socks off. on this showing he would have been an asset to us had we signed him, but not a huge improvement to McNulty imo., time will tell.

Never heard of him but Parkinson says they were trying to get him from the start of the window and it took time because other clubs wanted him, so he's not third or fourth choice or a desperation signing he's someone picked out carefully.

He's not a big lad and his flexibility has been mentioned so I'm thinking he'll be playing a more attacking role than replacing Dobson and Power. Apparently his nickname is the rat because of his aggressive closing down style.

whats your ****ing problem, read the thread, it says RUMOURS i quoted what i read on google, and he has signed,

?????
I have no idea what you are on about. I wasn't even sure which striker was the focus. Just a light-hearted comment about the use of "6 figure striker" and the attraction of MacDonalds burgers for some footballers. As in Gascoigne's "colleague", 2 Bellys.

Seems more of a defensive midfielder.. than a creative goalscoring one. We have defensive midfielders...
