No chance it'll be that low.
What would your guess be? He walks away for nowt in a few month. It’s a buyers market for him. He’s a league 1 player on a contract running out. 500k would be the absolute maximum, imo.

Grigg to Salford or Swindon according to the echo
Think Blackpool was muted also, would rather he went to either Salford or Swindon to be honest as you know he’ll start scoring for fun if he went to Blackpool. The Grayson effect.

Correct, Parky doesn't want to strengthen an opponent

Aye and if there was ever a player you could guarantee would score after leaving us it'd be Grigg. I wouldn't consider selling him to a league one side.
Agree and it's probably a mental thing for Grigg at the moment and if he went down a division the malaise would probably. continue. What he needs is someone to look up to who puts an arm around his shoulder and tells him to believe.... Hopefully we've tried this but you never know.

He also needs to go somewhere where he's not going to be a lone striker and can get the ball into his feet, don't think he's going to get a sniff with Parkinson's system and he couldn't do anything like the battering ram job that Wyke is doing so well. You know how it is with strikers one or two goals and they're off bad spell forgotten about.

Macanthony would probably be looking for nearer 1m. That's just my personal opinion like. He knows a firing Maddison is key to them going up or not. He'd want as much as he could get.

Maddison is going to Charlton 90% certain, so pity but charlton are in the championship and he would get better wages, i wonder if he is happy. Grigg should gan to the mags on loan.

If Maddison is so keen to come to SAFC a phone call from an intermediary to him would reveal how much the fee would be and if a deal was on the table would he stay in EFL1 and come back home if Parkinson wanted him .

Read somewhere he's looking for 15k so donald cannot afford him.

Peterboro paid anywhere between 250,000 and 500,000 for him and were trying to flog him for a 1.5 million in the summer.
Getting 500,000 doesn't represent good business for MacAnthony.
They will have to cash in on Toney this summer to avoid another million plus EOY loss.

You could be right here, mate. Reading between the lines I have a feeling the fee might not be far off his buy-out clause for 2.5 million. Incredible money for a league 1 player coming out of contract. I’d be angry if we were to even try and involve ourselves in something like that.
