For the love of god, why do many Leeds fan have this infatuation with bringing back ex players, no matter how bad they were when they played with us.
Ian Harte was fecking woeful as a defender, his only ability was to take a free kick and the occasional hard shot. I appreciate this post is only rumours and as such nobody has suggested Harte is on his way back to Leeds, but it has appeared on other forums and some people have switched their love of all things Alan Smith to Ian Harte.

 

Rumour has it, we are close to signing jean-bryan boukaka. He's a 21 yo forward playing for Ligue 2 club Tours. Don't know why, but he reminds me of someone....

I think they want the glory days back and bring those players in is the only way to do it in their opinion. It's rather sad

 

Understandable though. We all crave the glory days and the current plan of signing **** certainly hasn't worked. Maybe we should try reassemble O"Learys team. They would'nt be worse than this seasons crop even with an extra ten years mileage on their clocks

Do you not find it pretty sad that your fans have to go about boasting about not being able to produce players as good as those of mere Championship minnows like us?

 

Before we got Tier 1 status our catchment area was about 40% North Sea and 60% a sparsely populated rural county so maybe there is a reason we don't have the same flow of quality coming through as your lot. That said our U-18's beat Chelski in both legs of the final of the FA Youth Cup this season and we now have Tier 1 status so maybe we won't come knocking in the future.

I don't think I've ever referred to Leeds in a disrespectful way in any of my posts let alone implied that you are minnows just that it is unusual for a club of our size to be poaching from a club of yours which in my opinion says everything about the imbalance that the Sky money has caused in the English game. I know you boys love to be hated but I like Leeds as a city and Yorkshire as a county - sorry.

 

Why go to the effort of finding new hunting grounds, when we've found a sustainable stream of talent at Leeds. One a time, the stock won't get depleted

Besides now that we are established (2 successful seasons in PL now) top tier club, we can cherry pick the leagues below for rising talent!

Fair enough mate, just that unfortunately your post ends up just mixing in with the sea of condescending comments from Norwich fans every time one of our ex players does something good.

I have nothing against your club either unlike some Leeds fans, only a small minority of your fans (none on this site, it should be noted).
