Everton dodged a bullet with Sissoko to be fair. Better off without him but a reserve striker to replace Niasse, Williams as a replacement for Stones doesn't bode well. Bolaisie is the only one that's come in and not been a replacement for someone, he's one that's improved the first team right away.
Give credit where due, they were busy right up to 10.20, most clubs had gone home by then

Klopp keeping faith with his training is more effective than spending dictum in regards to no incoming LB and CM/DM. It's obvious the disdain he has for the whole transfer window and deadline day obsession, listen to what he's said in the last few weeks
This will be the acid test for him now. He has clear belief in himself and his methods ... But if weakness in those positions comes back to bite him on the arse over the next few months till the winter window and for the rest of the season then supporters will start to doubt him, question his judgement and this could all begin to start falling apart
If somehow the team improves in those positions we know we are light and certain players start performing better regularly he will be called a genius and an expert coach
Let's hope it's the latter boys

Half decent as a ball playing midfielder with no positional sense... Very dodgy as a ball playing defender with no positional sense.
They missed out on 2 big targets at CN (Napoli and Milan guy) so he was 3rd choice and they do only have Cahill, Terry and Ivanovic.
Unless he he wants to go to a back 3/5 with Azpi RWB then Ivanovic Terry Luiz and Alonso LWB and use Luiz as the one to bring ball out of defence.

Fairly happy with david luiz. One of my favourite players cause hes a right clown.
His pretty much like your sahko, on his day he can be a monster but his concentration levels and gung ho attacking of the ball makes him a liability. Confident conte will either use him correctly or sack him off if hes costing us points.
Very surprised by the alonso signing. Its a ridiculous price to pay and i remember watching him at sunderland hes not great defensively because his pace and acceleration are terrible. I reckon conte might be going for a back 3

Regardless of how we do I'm not losing faith with Klopp after one season.
My view is at least we didnt buy some klopp didnt want unlike the rogers purchases.
We bought two cbs. I dont think klavan was no 1 pick or anything but he was bought as cover after sakho started up.
We bought wijnaldum. I honestly have no clue where he was at in a list of cms but he was the one got. And Klopp has pkayed him.
We bought mane who everyone should be excited about each week. Head and shoulders the best buy since suarez for me. The attitude, work, skills, pace. Its all thete.
And finally we bought the keeper everyone wanted. If he works... we will see.
So nobody unwanted. No misfits unless wijnaldum doesnt work. All look klopp type sensible lads who work hard.
Its maybe a case that if the guy klopp wanted isnt available he has patience?
Or maybe he rates guys and thinks he can work with them when we just think no matter what they aint up to this?
I dont know but is itthat the main worry is not worldies were not signed but that we are a bit light in terms of defense?
I think we all know more or less the first 11 for at least the next 4 months now. The issue is rhat while some can push for places in midfield and attack the defence has no competition var moreno wanting to get back in.

I think that with Sakho staying he will get games in the League Cup. Lovren, Matip start Klavan and Sakho cover and maybe both start in the LC. That's enough.
