Liverpool have reportedly rejected a £20million bid for
Danny Ings - one of EIGHT approaches made for the England Under-21 international.
That is according to
ESPN, who say Jurgen Klopp is keen to retain the services of the former Burnley striker who is returning to full fitness after a long injury layoff.
Ings has only appeared for the Reds’ Under-23 side so far this season but the 24-year-old will play a part this term, insists Klopp.
“We’re counting on Ingsy. He is a fantastic boy,” Klopp said earlier this month. “He was injured since October last year and he needed time. Now he’s getting better and better.”
Gremoi president Romildo Bozan has insisted there has been no approach from Liverpool for star forward
Luan.
Reports had suggested the Reds had lodged a £29.9million bid, but Bozan claims that is not the case.
Speaking to
Globo Esporte, Bozan said: "We have received no proposal for Luan. We have already previously reviewed an offer for Walace and rejected it.
"Gremio wants to keep its best players as we hope to end the year with a title."
This is the one that looks set to run today then.
Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko is training alone at St James’ Park and has made it clear he sees his future elsewhere.
Spurs have made a £16million move for the French international - nowhere near the £35million that Newcastle want for him.
Now Sissoko has been handed permission by the French Football Federation to go and negotiate his move away.
So are Spurs closing in? How close are they? We’ll soon find out...
