There was a thought we had 4 cbs.

Now we've 2.

Two Achilles injuries and frankly we are looking at wisdom and ilori as only back up.

We could do with a decent option like him on the bench.
 
Subotic is awful now - injuries have ruined him. Bullet dodged.

Hope gotze can resurrect his career at BVB - he's a class player. Hopefully the fans won't be on his back for too long.
 
Theres no point endlessly going round and round the merry-go-round of average players who wont progress rhis club anywhere near top 4.

Lucas might as well go and let grunjic play even if hes not really any better for the next two years
 
Kante to Chelsea all but done then. £30m and medical done.

Really odd, in Jan window or next summer could understand but the chance to play CL football this year with Leiceater is a strange thing to give up. Ok you'll prob play it next year at Chelsea but even so

Its living the dream.

6 games plus maybe 2 more in cl is no big deal if the big big club is knocking.

Leicester are with due respect to them tiny and are highly unlikely to repeat the trick or even cone close.

So when chelsea lump the cash on the table with conte as manager and a new steiker in as well? Those 6 games dont look so great.

The whole point is not to play cl in itself. It is to maximise earnings and get in the shop window to make the most of your career.

This is why 3 years at lfc is unattractive to many. The shop window for the next move is poor and our history of lads like badontelly and markovic etc being basically career stalled as a result of joining us.....

Well..... no way would i stay at leicester if one of the really big english clubs of the last 15 years comes knocking.
 
I get we are thinning the squad as klopp has made that clear not a big squad needed, but is it a case of more need to go before we buy, as we do need players in certain positions. just hope board/club owers have not said you need to get rid of ballo etc before you can get more in or we could be in trouble.

Yeah but we don't pay silly wages lol. So don't see that happening sadly.

Who would be the mega star? If they haven't gone by then with the usual pissing about we do lol.

I agree with the building from the Base..sort of. I agree with the realistic signings, except his view that he thinks we all expect us to be able to get world class signings..most on here don't.

I'm going to have to trust him that he can get the "last year" players a level up...because I don't see it with a few of them...here's hoping.
