Thats my point. That inter team had no right to be winning the champions league but he still managed them to victory beating far more talented teams than his own

You may not like the guy and he can be a **** but you cant take away his achievements cause of how much you dislike him. Same with ronnie as much as i hate his arrogance and whining he has been arguably the best player this decade alongside messi

I'd like to think the euros had zero influence on who we targeted. In this case, waiting until afterwards is daft since their value can only increase, it was never going to decrease no matter how **** they may have been. For example, will any of the England players be worth less now than foot weeks ago?

Hector was rumoured to be joining for around £12m at first. That figure as gone up with each passing Germany game. Last reports suggested £17m+

Sterling's was prob 30mil before tournament and 5 bob now.
